وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَـٰهُ مَلَكًا لَّجَعَلْنَـٰهُ رَجُلاً وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ 9
وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 10
قُلْ سِيرُواْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ ٱنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 11
قُل لِّمَن مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۖ قُل لِّلَّهِۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِۚ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 12
۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ 13
قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُۗ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ 14
قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّى عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ 15
مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُۥۚ وَذَٲلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ 16
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 17
وَهُوَ ٱلْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ 18
وَلَوْwalawAnd ifجَعَلْنَـٰهُjaʿalnāhuWe had made himمَلَكًۭاmalakanan Angelلَّجَعَلْنَـٰهُlajaʿalnāhucertainly We (would) have made himرَجُلًۭاrajulana manوَلَلَبَسْنَاwalalabasnāand certainly We (would) have obscuredعَلَيْهِمʿalayhimto themمَّاmāwhatيَلْبِسُونَyalbisūnathey are obscuring
6:9
وَلَقَدِwalaqadiAnd indeedٱسْتُهْزِئَus'tuh'zi-awere mockedبِرُسُلٍۢbirusulinMessengersمِّنminfromقَبْلِكَqablikabefore youفَحَاقَfaḥāqabut surroundedبِٱلَّذِينَbi-alladhīnathose whoسَخِرُوا۟sakhirūscoffedمِنْهُمmin'humof themمَّاmāwhatكَانُوا۟kānūthey used toبِهِۦbihi[at it]يَسْتَهْزِءُونَyastahziūnamock
6:10
قُلْqulSayسِيرُوا۟sīrūTravelفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthثُمَّthummaandٱنظُرُوا۟unẓurūseeكَيْفَkayfahowكَانَkānawasعَـٰقِبَةُʿāqibatu(the) endٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَl-mukadhibīna(of) the rejecters
6:11
قُلqulSayلِّمَنlimanTo whom (belongs)مَّاmāwhatفِىfī(is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖwal-arḍiand the earthقُلqulSayلِّلَّهِ ۚlillahiTo AllahكَتَبَkatabaHe has decreedعَلَىٰʿalāuponنَفْسِهِnafsihiHimselfٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۚl-raḥmatathe MercyلَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْlayajmaʿannakumSurely He will assemble youإِلَىٰilāonيَوْمِyawmi(the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِl-qiyāmati(of) the Resurrectionلَاlā(there is) noرَيْبَraybadoubtفِيهِ ۚfīhiabout itٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoخَسِرُوٓا۟khasirūhave lostأَنفُسَهُمْanfusahumthemselvesفَهُمْfahumthen theyلَاlā(do) notيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnabelieve
6:12
۞ وَلَهُۥwalahuAnd for Himمَاmā(is) whateverسَكَنَsakanadwellsفِىfīinٱلَّيْلِal-laylithe nightوَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚwal-nahāriand the dayوَهُوَwahuwaand Heٱلسَّمِيعُl-samīʿu(is) All-Hearingٱلْعَلِيمُl-ʿalīmuAll-Knowing
6:13
قُلْqulSayأَغَيْرَaghayraIs it other thanٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahأَتَّخِذُattakhidhuI (should) takeوَلِيًّۭاwaliyyan(as) a protectorفَاطِرِfāṭiriCreatorٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍiand the earthوَهُوَwahuwawhile (it is) Heيُطْعِمُyuṭ'ʿimuWho feedsوَلَاwalāand notيُطْعَمُ ۗyuṭ'ʿamuHe is fedقُلْqulSayإِنِّىٓinnīIndeed Iأُمِرْتُumir'tu[I] am commandedأَنْanthatأَكُونَakūnaI beأَوَّلَawwala(the) firstمَنْmanwhoأَسْلَمَ ۖaslamasubmits (to Allah)وَلَاwalāand notتَكُونَنَّtakūnannabeمِنَminaofٱلْمُشْرِكِينَl-mush'rikīnathe polytheists
6:14
قُلْqulSayإِنِّىٓinnīIndeed, Iأَخَافُakhāfu[I] fearإِنْinifعَصَيْتُʿaṣaytuI disobeyedرَبِّىrabbīmy Lordعَذَابَʿadhābapunishmentيَوْمٍyawmin(of) a DayعَظِيمٍۢʿaẓīminMighty
6:15
مَّنmanWhoeverيُصْرَفْyuṣ'rafis avertedعَنْهُʿanhufrom itيَوْمَئِذٍۢyawma-idhinthat Dayفَقَدْfaqadthen surelyرَحِمَهُۥ ۚraḥimahuHe had Mercy on himوَذَٰلِكَwadhālikaAnd thatٱلْفَوْزُl-fawzu(is) the successٱلْمُبِينُl-mubīnu(the) clear
6:16
وَإِنwa-inAnd ifيَمْسَسْكَyamsaskatouches youٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِضُرٍّۢbiḍurrinwith afflictionفَلَاfalāthen noكَاشِفَkāshifaremoverلَهُۥٓlahuof itإِلَّاillāexceptهُوَ ۖhuwaHimوَإِنwa-inAnd ifيَمْسَسْكَyamsaskaHe touches youبِخَيْرٍۢbikhayrinwith goodفَهُوَfahuwathen Heعَلَىٰʿalā(is) onكُلِّkullieveryشَىْءٍۢshayinthingقَدِيرٌۭqadīrunAll-Powerful
6:17
وَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heٱلْقَاهِرُl-qāhiru(is) the Subjugatorفَوْقَfawqaoverعِبَادِهِۦ ۚʿibādihiHis slavesوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heٱلْحَكِيمُl-ḥakīmu(is) the All-Wiseٱلْخَبِيرُl-khabīruthe All-Aware
6:18
