۞ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓاْ أَخْرِجُوٓاْ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ 56
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ 57
وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ 58
قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓۗ ءَآللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ 59
أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ حَدَآئِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنۢبِتُواْ شَجَرَهَآۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ 60
أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٲسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًاۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 61
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ 62
أَمَّن يَهْدِيكُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ وَمَن يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرَۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦٓۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِۚ تَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ 63
۞ فَمَاfamāBut notكَانَkānawasجَوَابَjawāba(the) answerقَوْمِهِۦٓqawmihi(of) his peopleإِلَّآillāexceptأَنanthatقَالُوٓا۟qālūthey saidأَخْرِجُوٓا۟akhrijūDrive outءَالَāla(the) familyلُوطٍۢlūṭin(of) Lutمِّنminfromقَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖqaryatikumyour townإِنَّهُمْinnahumIndeed, theyأُنَاسٌۭunāsun(are) peopleيَتَطَهَّرُونَyataṭahharūnawho keep clean and pure
27:56
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُfa-anjaynāhuSo We saved himوَأَهْلَهُۥٓwa-ahlahuand his familyإِلَّاillāexceptٱمْرَأَتَهُۥim'ra-atahuhis wifeقَدَّرْنَـٰهَاqaddarnāhāWe destined herمِنَmina(to be) ofٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَl-ghābirīnathose who remained behind
27:57
وَأَمْطَرْنَاwa-amṭarnāAnd We rainedعَلَيْهِمʿalayhimupon themمَّطَرًۭا ۖmaṭarana rainفَسَآءَfasāaand was evilمَطَرُmaṭaru(the) rainٱلْمُنذَرِينَl-mundharīna(on) those who were warned
27:58
قُلِquliSayٱلْحَمْدُl-ḥamduAll praise (be)لِلَّهِlillahito Allahوَسَلَـٰمٌwasalāmunand peace (be)عَلَىٰʿalāuponعِبَادِهِʿibādihiHis slavesٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whomٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ۗiṣ'ṭafāHe has chosenءَآللَّهُāllahuIs Allahخَيْرٌkhayrunbetterأَمَّاammāor whatيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnathey associate (with Him)
27:59
أَمَّنْammanOr Whoخَلَقَkhalaqahas createdٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضَwal-arḍaand the earthوَأَنزَلَwa-anzalaand sent downلَكُمlakumfor youمِّنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِl-samāithe skyمَآءًۭmāanwaterفَأَنۢبَتْنَاfa-anbatnāAnd We caused to growبِهِۦbihitherebyحَدَآئِقَḥadāiqagardensذَاتَdhātaof beauty (and delight)بَهْجَةٍۢbahjatinof beauty (and delight)مَّاmānotكَانَkānait isلَكُمْlakumfor youأَنanthatتُنۢبِتُوا۟tunbitūyou cause to growشَجَرَهَآ ۗshajarahātheir treesأَءِلَـٰهٌۭa-ilāhunIs there any godمَّعَmaʿawithٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahiAllahبَلْbalNayهُمْhumtheyقَوْمٌۭqawmun(are) a peopleيَعْدِلُونَyaʿdilūnawho ascribe equals
27:60
أَمَّنammanOr Whoجَعَلَjaʿalamadeٱلْأَرْضَl-arḍathe earthقَرَارًۭاqarārana firm abodeوَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand madeخِلَـٰلَهَآkhilālahā(in) its midstأَنْهَـٰرًۭاanhāranriversوَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand madeلَهَاlahāfor itرَوَٰسِىَrawāsiyafirm mountainsوَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand madeبَيْنَbaynabetweenٱلْبَحْرَيْنِl-baḥraynithe two seasحَاجِزًا ۗḥājizana barrierأَءِلَـٰهٌۭa-ilāhunIs there any godمَّعَmaʿawithٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahiAllahبَلْbalNayأَكْثَرُهُمْaktharuhummost of themلَاlā(do) notيَعْلَمُونَyaʿlamūnaknow
27:61
أَمَّنammanOr Whoيُجِيبُyujīburespondsٱلْمُضْطَرَّl-muḍ'ṭara(to) the distressed oneإِذَاidhāwhenدَعَاهُdaʿāhuhe calls Himوَيَكْشِفُwayakshifuand He removesٱلسُّوٓءَl-sūathe evilوَيَجْعَلُكُمْwayajʿalukumand makes youخُلَفَآءَkhulafāainheritorsٱلْأَرْضِ ۗl-arḍi(of) the earthأَءِلَـٰهٌۭa-ilāhunIs there any godمَّعَmaʿawithٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahiAllahقَلِيلًۭاqalīlanLittleمَّاmā(is) whatتَذَكَّرُونَtadhakkarūnayou remember
27:62
أَمَّنammanOr Whoيَهْدِيكُمْyahdīkumguides youفِىfīinظُلُمَـٰتِẓulumāti(the) darkness[es]ٱلْبَرِّl-bari(of) the landوَٱلْبَحْرِwal-baḥriand the seaوَمَنwamanand Whoيُرْسِلُyur'silusendsٱلرِّيَـٰحَl-riyāḥathe windsبُشْرًۢاbush'ran(as) glad tidingsبَيْنَbaynabeforeيَدَىْyadaybeforeرَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗraḥmatihiHis Mercyأَءِلَـٰهٌۭa-ilāhunIs there any godمَّعَmaʿawithٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahiAllahتَعَـٰلَىtaʿālāHigh isٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahعَمَّاʿammāabove whatيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnathey associate (with Him)
27:63
