۞ إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِۚ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِن ثَمَرَٲتٍ مِّنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِۦۚ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِى قَالُوٓاْ ءَاذَنَّـٰكَ مَا مِنَّا مِن شَهِيدٍ 47
وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَدْعُونَ مِن قَبْلُۖ وَظَنُّواْ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ 48
لَّا يَسْــَٔمُ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِن دُعَآءِ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَيَــُٔوسٌ قَنُوطٌ 49
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَـٰهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَـٰذَا لِى وَمَآ أَظُنُّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَآئِمَةً وَلَئِن رُّجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّ لِى عِندَهُۥ لَلْحُسْنَىٰۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ 50
وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔـا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ 51
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُم بِهِۦ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِى شِقَاقِۭ بَعِيدٍ 52
سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا فِى ٱلْأَفَاقِ وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ 53
أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ مُّحِيطُۢ 54
۞ إِلَيْهِilayhiTo Himيُرَدُّyuradduis referredعِلْمُʿil'mu(the) knowledgeٱلسَّاعَةِ ۚl-sāʿati(of) the HourوَمَاwamāAnd notتَخْرُجُtakhrujucomes outمِنminanyثَمَرَٰتٍۢthamarātinfruitsمِّنْminfromأَكْمَامِهَاakmāmihātheir coveringsوَمَاwamāand notتَحْمِلُtaḥmilubearsمِنْminanyأُنثَىٰunthāfemaleوَلَاwalāand notتَضَعُtaḍaʿugives birthإِلَّاillāexceptبِعِلْمِهِۦ ۚbiʿil'mihiwith His knowledgeوَيَوْمَwayawmaAnd (the) DayيُنَادِيهِمْyunādīhimHe will call themأَيْنَaynaWhere (are)شُرَكَآءِىshurakāīMy partnersقَالُوٓا۟qālūThey will sayءَاذَنَّـٰكَādhannākaWe announce (to) Youمَاmānotمِنَّاminnāamong usمِنminanyشَهِيدٍۢshahīdinwitness
41:47
وَضَلَّwaḍallaAnd lostعَنْهُمʿanhumfrom themمَّاmāwhatكَانُوا۟kānūthey wereيَدْعُونَyadʿūnainvokingمِنminbeforeقَبْلُ ۖqablubeforeوَظَنُّوا۟waẓannūand they (will) be certainمَاmā(that) notلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminanyمَّحِيصٍۢmaḥīṣinplace of escape
41:48
لَّاlā(Does) notيَسْـَٔمُyasamuget tiredٱلْإِنسَـٰنُl-insānumanمِنminofدُعَآءِduʿāiprayingٱلْخَيْرِl-khayri(for) the goodوَإِنwa-inbut ifمَّسَّهُmassahutouches himٱلشَّرُّl-sharuthe evilفَيَـُٔوسٌۭfayaūsunthen he gives up hopeقَنُوطٌۭqanūṭun(and) despairs
41:49
وَلَئِنْwala-inAnd verily, ifأَذَقْنَـٰهُadhaqnāhuWe let him tasteرَحْمَةًۭraḥmatanmercyمِّنَّاminnāfrom Usمِنۢminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterضَرَّآءَḍarrāaan adversityمَسَّتْهُmassathu(has) touched himلَيَقُولَنَّlayaqūlannahe will surely sayهَـٰذَاhādhāThis (is)لِىlī(due) to meوَمَآwamāand notأَظُنُّaẓunnuI thinkٱلسَّاعَةَl-sāʿatathe Hourقَآئِمَةًۭqāimatan(will be) establishedوَلَئِنwala-inand ifرُّجِعْتُrujiʿ'tuI am returnedإِلَىٰilātoرَبِّىٓrabbīmy Lordإِنَّinnaindeedلِىlīfor meعِندَهُۥʿindahuwith Himلَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚlalḥus'nā(will be) the bestفَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّfalanunabbi-annaBut We will surely informٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelievedبِمَاbimāabout whatعَمِلُوا۟ʿamilūthey didوَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمwalanudhīqannahumand We will surely make them tasteمِّنْminofعَذَابٍʿadhābina punishmentغَلِيظٍۢghalīẓinsevere
41:50
وَإِذَآwa-idhāAnd whenأَنْعَمْنَاanʿamnāWe bestow favorعَلَىʿalāuponٱلْإِنسَـٰنِl-insānimanأَعْرَضَaʿraḍahe turns away وَنَـَٔاwanaāand distances himselfبِجَانِبِهِۦbijānibihiand distances himselfوَإِذَاwa-idhābut whenمَسَّهُmassahutouches himٱلشَّرُّl-sharuthe evilفَذُوfadhūthen (he is) fullدُعَآءٍduʿāin(of) supplicationعَرِيضٍۢʿarīḍinlengthy
41:51
قُلْqulSayأَرَءَيْتُمْara-aytumYou see إِنinifكَانَkānait isمِنْminfromعِندِʿindifromٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahثُمَّthummathenكَفَرْتُمkafartumyou disbelieveبِهِۦbihiin itمَنْmanwhoأَضَلُّaḍallu(is) more astrayمِمَّنْmimmanthan (one) who هُوَhuwaheفِىfī(is) inشِقَاقٍۭshiqāqinoppositionبَعِيدٍۢbaʿīdinfar
41:52
سَنُرِيهِمْsanurīhimSoon We will show themءَايَـٰتِنَاāyātināOur Signsفِىfīinٱلْـَٔافَاقِl-āfāqithe horizonsوَفِىٓwafīand inأَنفُسِهِمْanfusihimthemselvesحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilيَتَبَيَّنَyatabayyanabecomes clearلَهُمْlahumto themأَنَّهُannahuthat itٱلْحَقُّ ۗl-ḥaqu(is) the truthأَوَلَمْawalamIs (it) notيَكْفِyakfisufficientبِرَبِّكَbirabbikaconcerning your Lordأَنَّهُۥannahuthat Heعَلَىٰʿalā(is) overكُلِّkulliallشَىْءٍۢshayinthingsشَهِيدٌshahīduna Witness
41:53
أَلَآalāUnquestionablyإِنَّهُمْinnahumtheyفِىfī(are) inمِرْيَةٍۢmir'yatindoubtمِّنminaboutلِّقَآءِliqāi(the) meetingرَبِّهِمْ ۗrabbihim(with) their LordأَلَآalāUnquestionablyإِنَّهُۥinnahuindeed, Heبِكُلِّbikulli(is) of allشَىْءٍۢshayinthingsمُّحِيطٌۢmuḥīṭunencompassing
41:54
