إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُواْ بِٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱطْمَأَنُّواْ بِهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا غَـٰفِلُونَ 7
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَأْوَٮٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ 8
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَـٰنِهِمْۖ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ فِى جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 9
دَعْوَٮٰهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَـٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَـٰمٌۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَٮٰهُمْ أَنِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 10
۞ وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ ٱلشَّرَّ ٱسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِٱلْخَيْرِ لَقُضِىَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْۖ فَنَذَرُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ 11
وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ ٱلضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنۢبِهِۦٓ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُۥ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَآ إِلَىٰ ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُۥۚ كَذَٲلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ 12
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْۙ وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْۚ كَذَٲلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ 13
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَـٰكُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ 14
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيَرْجُونَyarjūnaexpectلِقَآءَنَاliqāanāthe meeting with Usوَرَضُوا۟waraḍūand are pleasedبِٱلْحَيَوٰةِbil-ḥayatiwith the lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldوَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟wa-iṭ'ma-annūand feel satisfiedبِهَاbihāwith itوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaand those هُمْhumtheyعَنْʿan(are) ofءَايَـٰتِنَاāyātināOur Signsغَـٰفِلُونَghāfilūnaheedless
10:7
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThose مَأْوَىٰهُمُmawāhumutheir abodeٱلنَّارُl-nāru(will be) the Fireبِمَاbimāfor whatكَانُوا۟kānūthey used (to)يَكْسِبُونَyaksibūnaearn
10:8
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelievedوَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand didٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِl-ṣāliḥātigood deedsيَهْدِيهِمْyahdīhim(will) guide themرَبُّهُمrabbuhumtheir Lordبِإِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۖbiīmānihimby their faithتَجْرِىtajrīWill flowمِنminfromتَحْتِهِمُtaḥtihimuunderneath themٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُl-anhāruthe riversفِىfīinجَنَّـٰتِjannātiGardensٱلنَّعِيمِl-naʿīmi(of) Delight
10:9
دَعْوَىٰهُمْdaʿwāhumTheir prayerفِيهَاfīhāthereinسُبْحَـٰنَكَsub'ḥānaka(will be), "Glory be to Youٱللَّهُمَّl-lahumaO AllahوَتَحِيَّتُهُمْwataḥiyyatuhumAnd their greetingفِيهَاfīhātherein (will be)سَلَـٰمٌۭ ۚsalāmunPeaceوَءَاخِرُwaākhiruAnd the lastدَعْوَىٰهُمْdaʿwāhum(of) their callأَنِani(will be) [that]ٱلْحَمْدُl-ḥamduAll the Praise beلِلَّهِlillahito AllahرَبِّrabbiLordٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَl-ʿālamīna(of) the worlds
10:10
۞ وَلَوْwalawAnd ifيُعَجِّلُyuʿajjiluhastensٱللَّهُl-lahu(by) Allahلِلنَّاسِlilnnāsifor the mankindٱلشَّرَّl-sharathe evilٱسْتِعْجَالَهُمis'tiʿ'jālahum(as) He hastens for themبِٱلْخَيْرِbil-khayrithe goodلَقُضِىَlaquḍiyasurely, would have been decreedإِلَيْهِمْilayhimfor themأَجَلُهُمْ ۖajaluhumtheir termفَنَذَرُfanadharuBut We leaveٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيَرْجُونَyarjūnaexpectلِقَآءَنَاliqāanāthe meeting with Usفِىfīinطُغْيَـٰنِهِمْṭugh'yānihimtheir transgressionيَعْمَهُونَyaʿmahūnawandering blindly
10:11
وَإِذَاwa-idhāAnd whenمَسَّmassatouchesٱلْإِنسَـٰنَl-insānathe manٱلضُّرُّl-ḍuruthe afflictionدَعَانَاdaʿānāhe calls Usلِجَنۢبِهِۦٓlijanbihi(lying) on his sideأَوْaworقَاعِدًاqāʿidansittingأَوْaworقَآئِمًۭاqāimanstandingفَلَمَّاfalammāBut whenكَشَفْنَاkashafnāWe removeعَنْهُʿanhufrom himضُرَّهُۥḍurrahuhis afflictionمَرَّmarrahe passes onكَأَنka-anas if heلَّمْlam(had) notيَدْعُنَآyadʿunācalled Usإِلَىٰilāforضُرٍّۢḍurrin(the) afflictionمَّسَّهُۥ ۚmassahu(that) touched himكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusزُيِّنَzuyyina(it) is made fair seemingلِلْمُسْرِفِينَlil'mus'rifīnato the extravagantمَاmāwhatكَانُوا۟kānūthey used (to)يَعْمَلُونَyaʿmalūnado
10:12
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd verilyأَهْلَكْنَاahlaknāWe destroyedٱلْقُرُونَl-qurūnathe generationsمِنminbefore youقَبْلِكُمْqablikumbefore youلَمَّاlammāwhenظَلَمُوا۟ ۙẓalamūthey wrongedوَجَآءَتْهُمْwajāathumand came to themرُسُلُهُمrusuluhumtheir Messengersبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِbil-bayinātiwith clear proofsوَمَاwamābut notكَانُوا۟kānūthey wereلِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚliyu'minūto believeكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusنَجْزِىnajzīWe recompenseٱلْقَوْمَl-qawmathe peopleٱلْمُجْرِمِينَl-muj'rimīna(who are) criminals
10:13
ثُمَّthummaThenجَعَلْنَـٰكُمْjaʿalnākumWe made youخَلَـٰٓئِفَkhalāifasuccessorsفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthمِنۢminafter themبَعْدِهِمْbaʿdihimafter themلِنَنظُرَlinanẓuraso that We may seeكَيْفَkayfahowتَعْمَلُونَtaʿmalūnayou do
10:14
