فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ ءَامَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَآ إِيمَـٰنُهَآ إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ ءَامَنُواْ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْخِزْىِ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ 98
وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ لَأَمَنَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًاۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ ٱلنَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ 99
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَجْعَلُ ٱلرِّجْسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ 100
قُلِ ٱنظُرُواْ مَاذَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ وَمَا تُغْنِى ٱلْأَيَـٰتُ وَٱلنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ 101
فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلَّا مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْۚ قُلْ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ 102
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٲلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنجِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ 103
قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِى شَكٍّ مِّن دِينِى فَلَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنْ أَعْبُدُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى يَتَوَفَّـٰكُمْۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ 104
وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ 105
وَلَا تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَۖ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ 106
فَلَوْلَاfalawlāSo why notكَانَتْkānatwasقَرْيَةٌqaryatunany townءَامَنَتْāmanatthat believedفَنَفَعَهَآfanafaʿahāand benefited itإِيمَـٰنُهَآīmānuhāits faithإِلَّاillāexceptقَوْمَqawmathe peopleيُونُسَyūnusa(of) YunusلَمَّآlammāWhenءَامَنُوا۟āmanūthey believedكَشَفْنَاkashafnāWe removedعَنْهُمْʿanhumfrom themعَذَابَʿadhāba(the) punishmentٱلْخِزْىِl-khiz'yi(of) the disgraceفِىfīinٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayatithe lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yāof the worldوَمَتَّعْنَـٰهُمْwamattaʿnāhumand We granted them enjoymentإِلَىٰilāforحِينٍۢḥīnina time
10:98
وَلَوْwalawAnd ifشَآءَshāa(had) willedرَبُّكَrabbukayour Lordلَـَٔامَنَlaāmanasurely, (would) have believedمَنmanwhoفِىfī(are) inٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthكُلُّهُمْkulluhumall of themجَمِيعًا ۚjamīʿantogetherأَفَأَنتَafa-antaThen, will youتُكْرِهُtuk'rihucompelٱلنَّاسَl-nāsathe mankindحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilيَكُونُوا۟yakūnūthey becomeمُؤْمِنِينَmu'minīnabelievers
10:99
وَمَاwamāAnd notكَانَkānaisلِنَفْسٍlinafsinfor a soulأَنantoتُؤْمِنَtu'minabelieveإِلَّاillāexceptبِإِذْنِbi-idh'niby (the) permissionٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahi(of) AllahوَيَجْعَلُwayajʿaluAnd He will placeٱلرِّجْسَl-rij'sathe wrathعَلَىʿalāonٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيَعْقِلُونَyaʿqilūnause reason
10:100
قُلِquliSayٱنظُرُوا۟unẓurūSeeمَاذَاmādhāwhatفِىfī(is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚwal-arḍiand the earthوَمَاwamāBut notتُغْنِىtugh'nīwill availٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُl-āyātuthe Signsوَٱلنُّذُرُwal-nudhuruand the warnersعَنʿantoقَوْمٍۢqawmina peopleلَّاlā(who do) notيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnabelieve
10:101
فَهَلْfahalThen doيَنتَظِرُونَyantaẓirūnathey waitإِلَّاillāexceptمِثْلَmith'lalikeأَيَّامِayyāmithe daysٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(of) those whoخَلَوْا۟khalawpassed awayمِنminbefore themقَبْلِهِمْ ۚqablihimbefore themقُلْqulSayفَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟fa-intaẓirūThen waitإِنِّىinnīindeed, I (am)مَعَكُمmaʿakumwith youمِّنَminaamongٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَl-muntaẓirīnathe ones who wait
10:102
ثُمَّthummaThenنُنَجِّىnunajjīWe will saveرُسُلَنَاrusulanāOur Messengersوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoءَامَنُوا۟ ۚāmanūbelieveكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusحَقًّاḥaqqan(it is) an obligationعَلَيْنَاʿalaynāupon Usنُنجِnunji(that) We saveٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīnathe believers
10:103
قُلْqulSayيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO mankindٱلنَّاسُl-nāsuO mankindإِنinIfكُنتُمْkuntumyou areفِىfīinشَكٍّۢshakkindoubtمِّنminofدِينِىdīnīmy religionفَلَآfalāthen notأَعْبُدُaʿbuduI worshipٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whomتَعْبُدُونَtaʿbudūnayou worshipمِنminbesides Allahدُونِdūnibesides Allahٱللَّهِl-lahibesides AllahوَلَـٰكِنْwalākinbutأَعْبُدُaʿbuduI worshipٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahٱلَّذِىalladhīthe One Whoيَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۖyatawaffākumcauses you to dieوَأُمِرْتُwa-umir'tuAnd I am commandedأَنْanthatأَكُونَakūnaI beمِنَminaofٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīnathe believers
10:104
وَأَنْwa-anAnd thatأَقِمْaqimDirectوَجْهَكَwajhakayour faceلِلدِّينِlilddīnito the religionحَنِيفًۭاḥanīfanuprightوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَكُونَنَّtakūnannabeمِنَminaofٱلْمُشْرِكِينَl-mush'rikīnathe polytheists
10:105
وَلَاwalāAnd (do) notتَدْعُtadʿuinvokeمِنminbesides Allahدُونِdūnibesides Allahٱللَّهِl-lahibesides Allahمَاmāwhatلَاlā(will) notيَنفَعُكَyanfaʿukabenefit youوَلَاwalāand notيَضُرُّكَ ۖyaḍurrukaharm youفَإِنfa-inBut ifفَعَلْتَfaʿaltayou did soفَإِنَّكَfa-innakaindeed, youإِذًۭاidhanthen (will be)مِّنَminaofٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَl-ẓālimīnathe wrongdoers
10:106
