إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُواْ لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا 12
وَإِذَآ أُلْقُواْ مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْاْ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا 13
لَّا تَدْعُواْ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَٲحِدًا وَٱدْعُواْ ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا 14
قُلْ أَذَٲلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءً وَمَصِيرًا 15
لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَـٰلِدِينَۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَّسْــُٔولاً 16
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّواْ ٱلسَّبِيلَ 17
قَالُواْ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِى لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَـٰكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُواْ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمَۢا بُورًا 18
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًاۚ وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا 19
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا 20
إِذَاidhāWhenرَأَتْهُمra-athumit sees themمِّنminfromمَّكَانٍۭmakānina placeبَعِيدٍۢbaʿīdinfarسَمِعُوا۟samiʿūthey will hearلَهَاlahāitsتَغَيُّظًۭاtaghayyuẓanragingوَزَفِيرًۭاwazafīranand roaring
25:12
وَإِذَآwa-idhāAnd whenأُلْقُوا۟ul'qūthey are thrownمِنْهَاmin'hāthereofمَكَانًۭاmakānan(in) a placeضَيِّقًۭاḍayyiqannarrowمُّقَرَّنِينَmuqarranīnabound in chainsدَعَوْا۟daʿawthey will callهُنَالِكَhunālikathereثُبُورًۭاthubūran(for) destruction
25:13
لَّاlā(Do) notتَدْعُوا۟tadʿūcallٱلْيَوْمَl-yawmathis dayثُبُورًۭاthubūran(for) destructionوَٰحِدًۭاwāḥidanoneوَٱدْعُوا۟wa-id'ʿūbut callثُبُورًۭاthubūran(for) destructionsكَثِيرًۭاkathīranmany
25:14
قُلْqulSayأَذَٰلِكَadhālikaIs thatخَيْرٌkhayrunbetterأَمْamorجَنَّةُjannatuGardenٱلْخُلْدِl-khul'di(of) Eternityٱلَّتِىallatīwhichوُعِدَwuʿidais promisedٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۚl-mutaqūna(to) the righteousكَانَتْkānatIt will beلَهُمْlahumfor themجَزَآءًۭjazāana rewardوَمَصِيرًۭاwamaṣīranand destination
25:15
لَّهُمْlahumFor themفِيهَاfīhāthereinمَاmā(is) whateverيَشَآءُونَyashāūnathey wishخَـٰلِدِينَ ۚkhālidīnathey will abide foreverكَانَkānaIt isعَلَىٰʿalāonرَبِّكَrabbikayour Lordوَعْدًۭاwaʿdana promiseمَّسْـُٔولًۭاmasūlanrequested
25:16
وَيَوْمَwayawmaAnd (the) DayيَحْشُرُهُمْyaḥshuruhumHe will gather themوَمَاwamāand whatيَعْبُدُونَyaʿbudūnathey worshipمِنminbesides Allahدُونِdūnibesides Allahٱللَّهِl-lahibesides Allahفَيَقُولُfayaqūluand He will sayءَأَنتُمْa-antumDid youأَضْلَلْتُمْaḍlaltum[you] misleadعِبَادِىʿibādīMy slavesهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِhāulāitheseأَمْamorهُمْhumtheyضَلُّوا۟ḍallūwent astrayٱلسَّبِيلَl-sabīla(from) the way
25:17
قَالُوا۟qālūThey sayسُبْحَـٰنَكَsub'ḥānakaGlory be to YouمَاmāNotكَانَkānait was properيَنۢبَغِىyanbaghīit was properلَنَآlanāfor usأَنanthatنَّتَّخِذَnattakhidhawe takeمِنminbesides Youدُونِكَdūnikabesides YouمِنْminanyأَوْلِيَآءَawliyāaprotectorsوَلَـٰكِنwalākinButمَّتَّعْتَهُمْmattaʿtahumYou gave them comfortsوَءَابَآءَهُمْwaābāahumand their forefathersحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilنَسُوا۟nasūthey forgotٱلذِّكْرَl-dhik'rathe Messageوَكَانُوا۟wakānūand becameقَوْمًۢاqawmana peopleبُورًۭاbūranruined
25:18
فَقَدْfaqadSo verilyكَذَّبُوكُمkadhabūkumthey deny youبِمَاbimāin whatتَقُولُونَtaqūlūnayou sayفَمَاfamāso notتَسْتَطِيعُونَtastaṭīʿūnayou are ableصَرْفًۭاṣarfan(to) avertوَلَاwalāand notنَصْرًۭا ۚnaṣran(to) helpوَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَظْلِمyaẓlimdoes wrongمِّنكُمْminkumamong youنُذِقْهُnudhiq'huWe will make him tasteعَذَابًۭاʿadhābana punishmentكَبِيرًۭاkabīrangreat
25:19
وَمَآwamāAnd notأَرْسَلْنَاarsalnāWe sentقَبْلَكَqablakabefore youمِنَminaanyٱلْمُرْسَلِينَl-mur'salīnaMessengersإِلَّآillābutإِنَّهُمْinnahumindeed, theyلَيَأْكُلُونَlayakulūna[surely] ateٱلطَّعَامَl-ṭaʿāmafoodوَيَمْشُونَwayamshūnaand walkedفِىfīinٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۗl-aswāqithe marketsوَجَعَلْنَاwajaʿalnāAnd We have madeبَعْضَكُمْbaʿḍakumsome of youلِبَعْضٍۢlibaʿḍinfor othersفِتْنَةًfit'natana trialأَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗataṣbirūnawill you have patienceوَكَانَwakānaAnd isرَبُّكَrabbukayour LordبَصِيرًۭاbaṣīranAll-Seer
25:20
