رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ وَٱتَّبَعْنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ 53
وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ 54
إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَـٰعِيسَىٰٓ إِنِّى مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ 55
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْأَخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ 56
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ 57
ذَٲلِكَ نَتْلُوهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَيَـٰتِ وَٱلذِّكْرِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ 58
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَۖ خَلَقَهُۥ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ 59
ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ 60
فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْاْ نَدْعُ أَبْنَآءَنَا وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمْ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ 61
رَبَّنَآrabbanāOur Lordءَامَنَّاāmannāwe believe[d]بِمَآbimāin whatأَنزَلْتَanzaltaYou revealedوَٱتَّبَعْنَاwa-ittabaʿnāand we follow[ed]ٱلرَّسُولَl-rasūlathe Messengerفَٱكْتُبْنَاfa-uk'tub'nāthen write usمَعَmaʿaamongٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَl-shāhidīnathe witnesses
3:53
وَمَكَرُوا۟wamakarūAnd they schemedوَمَكَرَwamakaraand plannedٱللَّهُ ۖl-lahuAllahوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahخَيْرُkhayru(is the) bestٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَl-mākirīna(of) the planners
3:54
إِذْidhWhenقَالَqālasaidٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahيَـٰعِيسَىٰٓyāʿīsāO IsaإِنِّىinnīIndeed, Iمُتَوَفِّيكَmutawaffīka(will) take youوَرَافِعُكَwarāfiʿukaand raise youإِلَىَّilayyato Myselfوَمُطَهِّرُكَwamuṭahhirukaand purify youمِنَminafromٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieve[d]وَجَاعِلُwajāʿiluand I will makeٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoٱتَّبَعُوكَittabaʿūkafollow[ed] youفَوْقَfawqasuperiorٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(to) those whoكَفَرُوٓا۟kafarūdisbelieve[d]إِلَىٰilāonيَوْمِyawmi(the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖl-qiyāmati(of) [the] ResurrectionثُمَّthummaThenإِلَىَّilayyato Meمَرْجِعُكُمْmarjiʿukum(is) your returnفَأَحْكُمُfa-aḥkumuand I will judgeبَيْنَكُمْbaynakumbetween youفِيمَاfīmāabout whatكُنتُمْkuntumyou wereفِيهِfīhi[in it]تَخْتَلِفُونَtakhtalifūnadiffering
3:55
فَأَمَّاfa-ammāThen as forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieve[d]فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْfa-uʿadhibuhumthen I will punish themعَذَابًۭاʿadhāban(with) a punishmentشَدِيدًۭاshadīdansevereفِىfīinٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yāthe worldوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِwal-ākhiratiand (in) the HereafterوَمَاwamāAnd notلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminanyنَّـٰصِرِينَnāṣirīnahelpers
3:56
وَأَمَّاwa-ammāAnd as forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieve[d]وَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand didٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِl-ṣāliḥāti[the] righteous deedsفَيُوَفِّيهِمْfayuwaffīhimthen He will grant them in fullأُجُورَهُمْ ۗujūrahumtheir rewardوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahلَاlā(does) notيُحِبُّyuḥibbuloveٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَl-ẓālimīnathe wrongdoers
3:57
ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThatنَتْلُوهُnatlūhu(is what) We recite [it]عَلَيْكَʿalaykato youمِنَminaofٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِl-āyātithe Versesوَٱلذِّكْرِwal-dhik'riand the Reminder ٱلْحَكِيمِl-ḥakīmi[the] Wise
3:58
إِنَّinnaIndeedمَثَلَmathala(the) likenessعِيسَىٰʿīsā(of) Isaعِندَʿindanearٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahكَمَثَلِkamathali(is) like (the) likenessءَادَمَ ۖādama(of) AdamخَلَقَهُۥkhalaqahuHe created himمِنminfromتُرَابٍۢturābindustثُمَّthummathenقَالَqālaHe saidلَهُۥlahuto himكُنkunBeفَيَكُونُfayakūnuand he was
3:59
ٱلْحَقُّal-ḥaquThe truthمِنmin(is) fromرَّبِّكَrabbikayour Lordفَلَاfalāso (do) notتَكُنtakunbeمِّنَminaamongٱلْمُمْتَرِينَl-mum'tarīnathe doubters
3:60
فَمَنْfamanThen whoeverحَآجَّكَḥājjakaargues (with) youفِيهِfīhiconcerning itمِنۢminfromبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمَاmāwhatجَآءَكَjāakacame to youمِنَminaofٱلْعِلْمِl-ʿil'mithe knowledgeفَقُلْfaqulthen sayتَعَالَوْا۟taʿālawComeنَدْعُnadʿulet us callأَبْنَآءَنَاabnāanāour sonsوَأَبْنَآءَكُمْwa-abnāakumand your sonsوَنِسَآءَنَاwanisāanāand our womenوَنِسَآءَكُمْwanisāakumand your womenوَأَنفُسَنَاwa-anfusanāand ourselvesوَأَنفُسَكُمْwa-anfusakumand yourselvesثُمَّthummathenنَبْتَهِلْnabtahillet us pray humblyفَنَجْعَلfanajʿaland [we] invokeلَّعْنَتَlaʿnatathe curseٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَىʿalāonٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَl-kādhibīnathe liars
3:61
