وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُۥۗ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِىَ إِلَىٰ صِرَٲطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ 101
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ 102
وَٱعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُواْۚ وَٱذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٲنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَاۗ كَذَٲلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ 103
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِۚ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ 104
وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَٱخْتَلَفُواْ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُۚ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 105
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ 106
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱبْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِى رَحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ 107
تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 108
وَكَيْفَwakayfaAnd how (could)تَكْفُرُونَtakfurūnayou disbelieveوَأَنتُمْwa-antumwhile [you]تُتْلَىٰtut'lāis recitedعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumupon youءَايَـٰتُāyātu(the) Versesٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahوَفِيكُمْwafīkumand among youرَسُولُهُۥ ۗrasūluhu(is) His MessengerوَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَعْتَصِمyaʿtaṣimholds firmlyبِٱللَّهِbil-lahito Allahفَقَدْfaqadthen surelyهُدِىَhudiyahe is guidedإِلَىٰilātoصِرَٰطٍۢṣirāṭina pathمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢmus'taqīminstraight
3:101
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO youٱلَّذِينَalladhīnawhoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieve[d]ٱتَّقُوا۟ittaqūFearٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahحَقَّḥaqqa(as is His) rightتُقَاتِهِۦtuqātihi(that) He (should) be fearedوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَمُوتُنَّtamūtunnadieإِلَّاillāexceptوَأَنتُمwa-antum[while you]مُّسْلِمُونَmus'limūna(as) Muslims
3:102
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟wa-iʿ'taṣimūAnd hold firmlyبِحَبْلِbiḥablito (the) ropeٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahجَمِيعًۭاjamīʿanall togetherوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚtafarraqūbe dividedوَٱذْكُرُوا۟wa-udh'kurūAnd rememberنِعْمَتَniʿ'mata(the) Favorٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumon youإِذْidhwhenكُنتُمْkuntumyou wereأَعْدَآءًۭaʿdāanenemiesفَأَلَّفَfa-allafathen He made friendshipبَيْنَbaynabetweenقُلُوبِكُمْqulūbikumyour heartsفَأَصْبَحْتُمfa-aṣbaḥtumthen you becameبِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓbiniʿ'matihiby His Favorإِخْوَٰنًۭاikh'wānanbrothersوَكُنتُمْwakuntumAnd you wereعَلَىٰʿalāonشَفَاshafā(the) brinkحُفْرَةٍۢḥuf'ratin(of) pitمِّنَminaofٱلنَّارِl-nārithe Fireفَأَنقَذَكُمfa-anqadhakumthen He saved youمِّنْهَا ۗmin'hāfrom itكَذَٰلِكَkadhālikaThusيُبَيِّنُyubayyinumakes clearٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahلَكُمْlakumfor youءَايَـٰتِهِۦāyātihiHis Versesلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَهْتَدُونَtahtadūna(be) guided
3:103
وَلْتَكُنwaltakunAnd let there beمِّنكُمْminkumamong youأُمَّةٌۭummatun[a] peopleيَدْعُونَyadʿūnainvitingإِلَىilātoٱلْخَيْرِl-khayrithe goodوَيَأْمُرُونَwayamurūna[and] enjoiningبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِbil-maʿrūfithe rightوَيَنْهَوْنَwayanhawnaand forbiddingعَنِʿanifromٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚl-munkarithe wrongوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaand those هُمُhumutheyٱلْمُفْلِحُونَl-muf'liḥūna(are) the successful ones
3:104
وَلَاwalāAnd (do) notتَكُونُوا۟takūnūbeكَٱلَّذِينَka-alladhīnalike those whoتَفَرَّقُوا۟tafarraqūbecame dividedوَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟wa-ikh'talafūand differedمِنۢminfromبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمَاmāwhatجَآءَهُمُjāahumucame to them ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُ ۚl-bayinātuthe clear proofsوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaAnd thoseلَهُمْlahumfor themعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٌۭʿaẓīmungreat
3:105
يَوْمَyawma(On the) Dayتَبْيَضُّtabyaḍḍuwould become whiteوُجُوهٌۭwujūhun(some) facesوَتَسْوَدُّwataswadduand would become blackوُجُوهٌۭ ۚwujūhun(some) facesفَأَمَّاfa-ammāAs forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoseٱسْوَدَّتْis'waddatturn blackوُجُوهُهُمْwujūhuhum[their] faces أَكَفَرْتُمakafartumDid you disbelieveبَعْدَbaʿdaafterإِيمَـٰنِكُمْīmānikumyour beliefفَذُوقُوا۟fadhūqūThen tasteٱلْعَذَابَl-ʿadhābathe punishmentبِمَاbimāfor whatكُنتُمْkuntumyou used toتَكْفُرُونَtakfurūnadisbelieve
3:106
وَأَمَّاwa-ammāBut as forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoseٱبْيَضَّتْib'yaḍḍatturn whiteوُجُوهُهُمْwujūhuhum[their] facesفَفِىfafīthen (they will be) inرَحْمَةِraḥmati(the) Mercyٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahهُمْhumtheyفِيهَاfīhāin itخَـٰلِدُونَkhālidūna(will) abide forever
3:107
تِلْكَtil'kaTheseءَايَـٰتُāyātu(are the) Versesٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) AllahنَتْلُوهَاnatlūhāWe recite themعَلَيْكَʿalaykato youبِٱلْحَقِّ ۗbil-ḥaqiin truthوَمَاwamāAnd notٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahيُرِيدُyurīduwantsظُلْمًۭاẓul'maninjusticeلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَlil'ʿālamīnato the worlds
3:108
