وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِۖ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ ءَاذَانٌ لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ كَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰفِلُونَ 179
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَاۖ وَذَرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَـٰٓئِهِۦۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ 180
وَمِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ أُمَّةٌ يَهْدُونَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَبِهِۦ يَعْدِلُونَ 181
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 182
وَأُمْلِى لَهُمْۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ 183
أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُواْۗ مَا بِصَاحِبِهِم مِّن جِنَّةٍۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ 184
أَوَلَمْ يَنظُرُواْ فِى مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ وَأَنْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقْتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمْۖ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ 185
مَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا هَادِىَ لَهُۥۚ وَيَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ 186
يَسْــَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَـٰهَاۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّىۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَۚ ثَقُلَتْ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِۚ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةًۗ يَسْــَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنْهَاۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 187
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyذَرَأْنَاdharanāWe have createdلِجَهَنَّمَlijahannamafor Hellكَثِيرًۭاkathīranmanyمِّنَminaofٱلْجِنِّl-jinithe jinnوَٱلْإِنسِ ۖwal-insiand menلَهُمْlahumFor themقُلُوبٌۭqulūbun(are) heartsلَّاlā(but) notيَفْقَهُونَyafqahūnathey understandبِهَاbihāwith themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themأَعْيُنٌۭaʿyunun(are) eyesلَّاlā(but) notيُبْصِرُونَyub'ṣirūnathey seeبِهَاbihāwith themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themءَاذَانٌۭādhānun(are) earsلَّاlā(but) notيَسْمَعُونَyasmaʿūnathey hearبِهَآ ۚbihāwith themأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseكَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِkal-anʿāmi(are) like cattleبَلْbalnayهُمْhumtheyأَضَلُّ ۚaḍallu(are) more astrayأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThose هُمُhumutheyٱلْغَـٰفِلُونَl-ghāfilūna(are) the heedless
7:179
وَلِلَّهِwalillahiAnd for Allahٱلْأَسْمَآءُl-asmāu(are) the names ٱلْحُسْنَىٰl-ḥus'nāthe most beautifulفَٱدْعُوهُfa-id'ʿūhuso invoke Himبِهَا ۖbihāby themوَذَرُوا۟wadharūAnd leaveٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoيُلْحِدُونَyul'ḥidūnadeviateفِىٓfīconcerningأَسْمَـٰٓئِهِۦ ۚasmāihiHis namesسَيُجْزَوْنَsayuj'zawnaThey will be recompensedمَاmāfor whatكَانُوا۟kānūthey used toيَعْمَلُونَyaʿmalūnado
7:180
وَمِمَّنْwamimmanAnd of (those) whomخَلَقْنَآkhalaqnāWe have createdأُمَّةٌۭummatun(is) a nationيَهْدُونَyahdūnawho guidesبِٱلْحَقِّbil-ḥaqiwith the truthوَبِهِۦwabihiand therebyيَعْدِلُونَyaʿdilūnathey establish justice
7:181
وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaBut those whoكَذَّبُوا۟kadhabūdeniedبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاbiāyātināOur SignsسَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُمsanastadrijuhumWe will gradually lead themمِّنْminfromحَيْثُḥaythuwhereلَاlānotيَعْلَمُونَyaʿlamūnathey know
7:182
وَأُمْلِىwa-um'līAnd I will give respiteلَهُمْ ۚlahumto themإِنَّinnaIndeedكَيْدِىkaydīMy planمَتِينٌmatīnun(is) firm
7:183
أَوَلَمْawalamDo notيَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۗyatafakkarūthey reflectمَاmāNotبِصَاحِبِهِمbiṣāḥibihimin their companionمِّنmin[of]جِنَّةٍ ۚjinnatin(is) any madnessإِنْinNotهُوَhuwaheإِلَّاillā(is) butنَذِيرٌۭnadhīruna warnerمُّبِينٌmubīnunclear
7:184
أَوَلَمْawalamDo notيَنظُرُوا۟yanẓurūthey lookفِىfīinمَلَكُوتِmalakūti(the) dominionٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍiand the earthوَمَاwamāand whatخَلَقَkhalaqahas (been) createdٱللَّهُl-lahu(by) Allahمِنminofشَىْءٍۢshayin(every)thingوَأَنْwa-anand thatعَسَىٰٓʿasāperhapsأَنan[that]يَكُونَyakūnahasقَدِqadiverilyٱقْتَرَبَiq'tarabacome near أَجَلُهُمْ ۖajaluhumtheir termفَبِأَىِّfabi-ayyiSo in whatحَدِيثٍۭḥadīthinstatementبَعْدَهُۥbaʿdahuafter thisيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnawill they believe
7:185
مَنmanWhoeverيُضْلِلِyuḍ'lili(is) let go astrayٱللَّهُl-lahu(by) Allahفَلَاfalāthen (there is) noهَادِىَhādiyaguideلَهُۥ ۚlahufor himوَيَذَرُهُمْwayadharuhumAnd He leaves themفِىfīinطُغْيَـٰنِهِمْṭugh'yānihimtheir transgressionيَعْمَهُونَyaʿmahūnawandering blindly
7:186
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَyasalūnakaThey ask youعَنِʿaniaboutٱلسَّاعَةِl-sāʿatithe Hourأَيَّانَayyānawhen will beمُرْسَىٰهَا ۖmur'sāhāits appointed timeقُلْqulSayإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyعِلْمُهَاʿil'muhāits knowledgeعِندَʿinda(is) withرَبِّى ۖrabbīmy Lordلَاlāno (one)يُجَلِّيهَاyujallīhācan reveal [it]لِوَقْتِهَآliwaqtihāits timeإِلَّاillāexceptهُوَ ۚhuwaHimثَقُلَتْthaqulatIt lays heavilyفِىfīinٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚwal-arḍiand the earthلَاlāNotتَأْتِيكُمْtatīkumwill it come to youإِلَّاillābutبَغْتَةًۭ ۗbaghtatansuddenlyيَسْـَٔلُونَكَyasalūnakaThey ask youكَأَنَّكَka-annakaas if youحَفِىٌّḥafiyyun(were) well informedعَنْهَا ۖʿanhāabout itقُلْqulSayإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyعِلْمُهَاʿil'muhāits knowledgeعِندَʿinda(is) withٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahوَلَـٰكِنَّwalākinnabutأَكْثَرَaktharamostٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) the peopleلَاlā(do) notيَعْلَمُونَyaʿlamūnaknow
7:187
