وَٱذْكُرُوٓاْ إِذْ أَنتُمْ قَلِيلٌ مُّسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَـَٔـاوَٮٰكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصْرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 26
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَخُونُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوٓاْ أَمَـٰنَـٰتِكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 27
وَٱعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أَمْوَٲلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ 28
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّكُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔـاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 29
وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ 30
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا قَالُواْ قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَـٰذَآۙ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 31
وَإِذْ قَالُواْ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَـٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 32
وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنتَ فِيهِمْۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ 33
وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟wa-udh'kurūAnd rememberإِذْidhwhenأَنتُمْantumyouقَلِيلٌۭqalīlun(were) fewمُّسْتَضْعَفُونَmus'taḍʿafūna(and) deemed weakفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthتَخَافُونَtakhāfūnafearingأَنanthatيَتَخَطَّفَكُمُyatakhaṭṭafakumumight do away with youٱلنَّاسُl-nāsuthe menفَـَٔاوَىٰكُمْfaāwākumthen He sheltered youوَأَيَّدَكُمwa-ayyadakumand strengthened youبِنَصْرِهِۦbinaṣrihiwith His helpوَرَزَقَكُمwarazaqakumand provided youمِّنَminaofٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِl-ṭayibātithe good thingsلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَشْكُرُونَtashkurūna(be) thankful
8:26
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO youٱلَّذِينَalladhīnawhoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveلَاlā(Do) notتَخُونُوا۟takhūnūbetrayٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahوَٱلرَّسُولَwal-rasūlaand the Messengerوَتَخُونُوٓا۟watakhūnūor betrayأَمَـٰنَـٰتِكُمْamānātikumyour trustsوَأَنتُمْwa-antumwhile youتَعْلَمُونَtaʿlamūnaknow
8:27
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟wa-iʿ'lamūAnd knowأَنَّمَآannamāthatأَمْوَٰلُكُمْamwālukumyour wealthوَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْwa-awlādukumand your childrenفِتْنَةٌۭfit'natun(are) a trialوَأَنَّwa-annaAnd thatٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah عِندَهُۥٓʿindahuwith Himأَجْرٌajrun(is) a rewardعَظِيمٌۭʿaẓīmungreat
8:28
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāO youٱلَّذِينَalladhīnawhoءَامَنُوٓا۟āmanūbelieveإِنinIfتَتَّقُوا۟tattaqūyou fearٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahيَجْعَلyajʿalHe will grantلَّكُمْlakumyouفُرْقَانًۭاfur'qānana criterionوَيُكَفِّرْwayukaffirand will removeعَنكُمْʿankumfrom youسَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْsayyiātikumyour evil deedsوَيَغْفِرْwayaghfirand forgiveلَكُمْ ۗlakumyouوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahذُوdhū(is) the Possessorٱلْفَضْلِl-faḍli(of) Bountyٱلْعَظِيمِl-ʿaẓīmithe Great
8:29
وَإِذْwa-idhAnd whenيَمْكُرُyamkuruplottedبِكَbikaagainst youٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelievedلِيُثْبِتُوكَliyuth'bitūkathat they restrain youأَوْaworيَقْتُلُوكَyaqtulūkakill youأَوْaworيُخْرِجُوكَ ۚyukh'rijūkadrive you outوَيَمْكُرُونَwayamkurūnaAnd they were planningوَيَمْكُرُwayamkuruand (also) was planningٱللَّهُ ۖl-lahuAllahوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahخَيْرُkhayruis (the) Bestٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَl-mākirīna(of) the Planners
8:30
وَإِذَاwa-idhāAnd whenتُتْلَىٰtut'lāare recitedعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto themءَايَـٰتُنَاāyātunāOur Versesقَالُوا۟qālūthey sayقَدْqadVerilyسَمِعْنَاsamiʿ'nāwe have heardلَوْlawifنَشَآءُnashāuwe wishلَقُلْنَاlaqul'nāsurely, we could sayمِثْلَmith'lalikeهَـٰذَآ ۙhādhāthisإِنْinNotهَـٰذَآhādhāis thisإِلَّآillābutأَسَـٰطِيرُasāṭīrutalesٱلْأَوَّلِينَl-awalīna(of) the former (people)
8:31
وَإِذْwa-idhAnd whenقَالُوا۟qālūthey saidٱللَّهُمَّl-lahumaO AllahإِنinIfكَانَkānawasهَـٰذَاhādhāthisهُوَhuwa[it]ٱلْحَقَّl-ḥaqathe truthمِنْmin[of]عِندِكَʿindikafrom Youفَأَمْطِرْfa-amṭirthen (send) rainعَلَيْنَاʿalaynāupon usحِجَارَةًۭḥijāratan(of) stonesمِّنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِl-samāithe skyأَوِawiorٱئْتِنَاi'tinābring (upon) usبِعَذَابٍbiʿadhābina punishmentأَلِيمٍۢalīminpainful
8:32
وَمَاwamāBut notكَانَkānaisٱللَّهُl-lahu(for) Allahلِيُعَذِّبَهُمْliyuʿadhibahumthat He punishes themوَأَنتَwa-antawhile youفِيهِمْ ۚfīhim(are) among themوَمَاwamāand notكَانَkānaisٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahمُعَذِّبَهُمْmuʿadhibahumthe One Who punishes themوَهُمْwahumwhile theyيَسْتَغْفِرُونَyastaghfirūnaseek forgiveness
8:33
