وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُۥ بَشَرٌۗ لِّسَانُ ٱلَّذِى يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِىٌّ وَهَـٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِىٌّ مُّبِينٌ 103
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَهْدِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 104
إِنَّمَا يَفْتَرِى ٱلْكَذِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَ 105
مَن كَفَرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمَـٰنِهِۦٓ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُۥ مُطْمَئِنُّۢ بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِٱلْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 106
ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسْتَحَبُّواْ ٱلْحَيَوٲةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْأَخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ 107
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰفِلُونَ 108
لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ 109
ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا فُتِنُواْ ثُمَّ جَـٰهَدُواْ وَصَبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ 110
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyنَعْلَمُnaʿlamuWe knowأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyيَقُولُونَyaqūlūnasayإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyيُعَلِّمُهُۥyuʿallimuhuteaches himبَشَرٌۭ ۗbasharuna human beingلِّسَانُlisānu(The) tongueٱلَّذِىalladhī(of) the oneيُلْحِدُونَyul'ḥidūnathey referإِلَيْهِilayhito himأَعْجَمِىٌّۭaʿjamiyyun(is) foreignوَهَـٰذَاwahādhāwhile thisلِسَانٌlisānun(is) a languageعَرَبِىٌّۭʿarabiyyunArabicمُّبِينٌmubīnunclear
16:103
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnabelieveبِـَٔايَـٰتِbiāyātiin the Versesٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) AllahلَاlānotيَهْدِيهِمُyahdīhimuAllah will guide themٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah will guide themوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentأَلِيمٌalīmunpainful
16:104
إِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyيَفْتَرِىyaftarīthey inventٱلْكَذِبَl-kadhibathe falsehoodٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnabelieveبِـَٔايَـٰتِbiāyātiin the Versesٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahi(of) Allahوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaand those هُمُhumutheyٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَl-kādhibūna(are) the liars
16:105
مَنmanWhoeverكَفَرَkafaradisbelievesبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiin Allahمِنۢminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterإِيمَـٰنِهِۦٓīmānihihis beliefإِلَّاillāexceptمَنْman(one) whoأُكْرِهَuk'rihais forcedوَقَلْبُهُۥwaqalbuhuwhile his heartمُطْمَئِنٌّۢmuṭ'ma-innun(is) contentبِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِbil-īmāniwith the faithوَلَـٰكِنwalākinButمَّنman(one) whoشَرَحَsharaḥaopensبِٱلْكُفْرِbil-kuf'rito disbeliefصَدْرًۭاṣadran(his) breastفَعَلَيْهِمْfaʿalayhimthen upon themغَضَبٌۭghaḍabun(is) a wrathمِّنَminaofٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentعَظِيمٌۭʿaẓīmungreat
16:106
ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThat (is)بِأَنَّهُمُbi-annahumubecauseٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟is'taḥabbūthey preferredٱلْحَيَوٰةَl-ḥayatathe lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldعَلَىʿalāoverٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِl-ākhiratithe Hereafterوَأَنَّwa-annaand thatٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(does) notيَهْدِىyahdīguideٱلْقَوْمَl-qawmathe peopleٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelievers
16:107
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(are) the ones طَبَعَṭabaʿaAllah has set a sealٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah has set a sealعَلَىٰʿalāoverقُلُوبِهِمْqulūbihimtheir heartsوَسَمْعِهِمْwasamʿihimand their hearingوَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ ۖwa-abṣārihimand their sightوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaAnd those هُمُhumuthey areٱلْغَـٰفِلُونَl-ghāfilūnathe heedless
16:108
لَاlāNoجَرَمَjaramadoubtأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyفِىfīinٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِl-ākhiratithe Hereafterهُمُhumu[they]ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَl-khāsirūna(are) the losers
16:109
ثُمَّthummaThenإِنَّinnaindeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordلِلَّذِينَlilladhīnato those whoهَاجَرُوا۟hājarūemigratedمِنۢminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمَاmāwhatفُتِنُوا۟futinūthey had been put to trialsثُمَّthummathenجَـٰهَدُوا۟jāhadūstrove hardوَصَبَرُوٓا۟waṣabarūand were patientإِنَّinnaIndeedرَبَّكَrabbakayour Lordمِنۢminafter itبَعْدِهَاbaʿdihāafter itلَغَفُورٌۭlaghafūrunsurely is Oft-ForgivingرَّحِيمٌۭraḥīmunMost Merciful
16:110
