وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّـٰهُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ 18
فَأَنشَأْنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍ لَّكُمْ فِيهَا فَوَٲكِهُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ 19
وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيْنَآءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْأَكِلِينَ 20
وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ لَعِبْرَةًۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ 21
وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ 22
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓۖ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 23
فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰٓئِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ 24
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلُۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ 25
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ 26
فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْهِ أَنِ ٱصْنَعِ ٱلْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُۙ فَٱسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْۖ وَلَا تُخَـٰطِبْنِى فِى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْۖ إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ 27
وَأَنزَلْنَاwa-anzalnāAnd We send downمِنَminafromٱلسَّمَآءِl-samāithe skyمَآءًۢmāanwaterبِقَدَرٍۢbiqadarinin (due) measureفَأَسْكَنَّـٰهُfa-askannāhuthen We cause it to settleفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِ ۖl-arḍithe earthوَإِنَّاwa-innāAnd indeed, Weعَلَىٰʿalāonذَهَابٍۭdhahābintaking it awayبِهِۦbihitaking it awayلَقَـٰدِرُونَlaqādirūnasurely (are) Able
23:18
فَأَنشَأْنَاfa-anshanāThen We producedلَكُمlakumfor youبِهِۦbihiby itجَنَّـٰتٍۢjannātingardensمِّنminof date-palmsنَّخِيلٍۢnakhīlinof date-palmsوَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢwa-aʿnābinand grapevinesلَّكُمْlakumfor youفِيهَاfīhāin itفَوَٰكِهُfawākihu(are) fruitsكَثِيرَةٌۭkathīratunabundantوَمِنْهَاwamin'hāand from themتَأْكُلُونَtakulūnayou eat
23:19
وَشَجَرَةًۭwashajaratanAnd a treeتَخْرُجُtakhruju(that) springs forthمِنminfromطُورِṭūriMount SinaiسَيْنَآءَsaynāaMount Sinaiتَنۢبُتُtanbutu(which) producesبِٱلدُّهْنِbil-duh'nioilوَصِبْغٍۢwaṣib'ghinand a relishلِّلْـَٔاكِلِينَlil'ākilīnafor those who eat
23:20
وَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedلَكُمْlakumfor youفِىfīinٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِl-anʿāmithe cattleلَعِبْرَةًۭ ۖlaʿib'ratansurely, (is) a lessonنُّسْقِيكُمnus'qīkumWe give you drinkمِّمَّاmimmāfrom whatفِىfī(is) inبُطُونِهَاbuṭūnihātheir belliesوَلَكُمْwalakumand for youفِيهَاfīhāin themمَنَـٰفِعُmanāfiʿu(are) benefitsكَثِيرَةٌۭkathīratunmanyوَمِنْهَاwamin'hāand of themتَأْكُلُونَtakulūnayou eat
23:21
وَعَلَيْهَاwaʿalayhāAnd on themوَعَلَىwaʿalāand onٱلْفُلْكِl-ful'ki[the] shipsتُحْمَلُونَtuḥ'malūnayou are carried
23:22
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd verilyأَرْسَلْنَاarsalnāWe sentنُوحًاnūḥanNuhإِلَىٰilātoقَوْمِهِۦqawmihihis peopleفَقَالَfaqālaand he saidيَـٰقَوْمِyāqawmiO my peopleٱعْبُدُوا۟uʿ'budūWorshipٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahمَاmānotلَكُمlakumfor youمِّنْmin(is) anyإِلَـٰهٍilāhingodغَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖghayruhuother than HimأَفَلَاafalāThen will notتَتَّقُونَtattaqūnayou fear
23:23
فَقَالَfaqālaBut saidٱلْمَلَؤُا۟l-mala-uthe chiefsٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(of) those whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelievedمِنminamongقَوْمِهِۦqawmihihis peopleمَاmāThis is notهَـٰذَآhādhāThis is notإِلَّاillābutبَشَرٌۭbasharuna manمِّثْلُكُمْmith'lukumlike youيُرِيدُyurīduhe wishesأَنantoيَتَفَضَّلَyatafaḍḍalaassert (his) superiorityعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumover youوَلَوْwalawand ifشَآءَshāaAllah had willedٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah had willedلَأَنزَلَla-anzalasurely He (would have) sent downمَلَـٰٓئِكَةًۭmalāikatanAngelsمَّاmāNotسَمِعْنَاsamiʿ'nāwe heardبِهَـٰذَاbihādhāof thisفِىٓfīfromءَابَآئِنَاābāināour forefathersٱلْأَوَّلِينَl-awalīnaour forefathers
23:24
إِنْinNotهُوَhuwaheإِلَّاillā(is) butرَجُلٌۢrajuluna manبِهِۦbihiin himجِنَّةٌۭjinnatun(is) madnessفَتَرَبَّصُوا۟fatarabbaṣūso waitبِهِۦbihiconcerning himحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilحِينٍۢḥīnina time
23:25
قَالَqālaHe saidرَبِّrabbiMy Lordٱنصُرْنِىunṣur'nīHelp meبِمَاbimābecauseكَذَّبُونِkadhabūnithey deny me
23:26
فَأَوْحَيْنَآfa-awḥaynāSo We inspiredإِلَيْهِilayhito himأَنِaniThatٱصْنَعِiṣ'naʿiconstructٱلْفُلْكَl-ful'kathe shipبِأَعْيُنِنَاbi-aʿyunināunder Our eyesوَوَحْيِنَاwawaḥyināand Our inspirationفَإِذَاfa-idhāthen whenجَآءَjāacomesأَمْرُنَاamrunāOur Commandوَفَارَwafāraand gushes forthٱلتَّنُّورُ ۙl-tanūruthe ovenفَٱسْلُكْfa-us'lukthen putفِيهَاfīhāinto itمِنminofكُلٍّۢkullinevery (kind)زَوْجَيْنِzawjayni(of) matesٱثْنَيْنِith'naynitwoوَأَهْلَكَwa-ahlakaand your familyإِلَّاillāexceptمَنmanthoseسَبَقَsabaqa(has) precededعَلَيْهِʿalayhiagainst whomٱلْقَوْلُl-qawluthe Wordمِنْهُمْ ۖmin'humthereofوَلَاwalāAnd (do) notتُخَـٰطِبْنِىtukhāṭib'nīaddress Meفِىfīconcerningٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۖẓalamūwrongedإِنَّهُمinnahumindeed, theyمُّغْرَقُونَmugh'raqūna(are) the ones to be drowned
23:27
