فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَـٰهُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ 24
وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْثَـٰنًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَٮٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِينَ 25
۞ فَـَٔـامَنَ لَهُۥ لُوطٌۘ وَقَالَ إِنِّى مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّىٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 26
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِ ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ أَجْرَهُۥ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَاۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ 27
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ 28
أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِى نَادِيكُمُ ٱلْمُنكَرَۖ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ 29
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ 30
فَمَاfamāAnd notكَانَkānawasجَوَابَjawāba(the) answerقَوْمِهِۦٓqawmihi(of) his peopleإِلَّآillāexceptأَنanthatقَالُوا۟qālūthey saidٱقْتُلُوهُuq'tulūhuKill himأَوْaworحَرِّقُوهُḥarriqūhuburn himفَأَنجَىٰهُfa-anjāhuBut Allah saved himٱللَّهُl-lahuBut Allah saved himمِنَminafromٱلنَّارِ ۚl-nārithe fireإِنَّinnaIndeedفِىfīinذَٰلِكَdhālikathatلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢlaāyātinsurely (are) Signsلِّقَوْمٍۢliqawminfor a peopleيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnawho believe
29:24
وَقَالَwaqālaAnd he saidإِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyٱتَّخَذْتُمittakhadhtumyou have takenمِّنminbesidesدُونِdūnibesidesٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahأَوْثَـٰنًۭاawthānanidolsمَّوَدَّةَmawaddata(out of) loveبَيْنِكُمْbaynikumamong youفِىfīinٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayatithe lifeٱلدُّنْيَا ۖl-dun'yā(of) the worldثُمَّthummaThenيَوْمَyawma(on the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِl-qiyāmati(of) the Resurrectionيَكْفُرُyakfuruyou will denyبَعْضُكُمbaʿḍukumone anotherبِبَعْضٍۢbibaʿḍinone anotherوَيَلْعَنُwayalʿanuand curseبَعْضُكُمbaʿḍukumone anotherبَعْضًۭاbaʿḍanone anotherوَمَأْوَىٰكُمُwamawākumuand your abodeٱلنَّارُl-nāru(will be) the Fireوَمَاwamāand notلَكُمlakumfor youمِّنminanyنَّـٰصِرِينَnāṣirīnahelpers
29:25
۞ فَـَٔامَنَfaāmanaAnd believedلَهُۥlahu[in] himلُوطٌۭ ۘlūṭunLutوَقَالَwaqālaand he saidإِنِّىinnīIndeed I (am)مُهَاجِرٌmuhājirunemigratingإِلَىٰilātoرَبِّىٓ ۖrabbīmy LordإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed, Heهُوَhuwa[He] (is)ٱلْعَزِيزُl-ʿazīzuthe All-Mightyٱلْحَكِيمُl-ḥakīmuthe All-Wise
29:26
وَوَهَبْنَاwawahabnāAnd We grantedلَهُۥٓlahuto himإِسْحَـٰقَis'ḥāqaIsaacوَيَعْقُوبَwayaʿqūbaand Yaqubوَجَعَلْنَاwajaʿalnāand We placedفِىfīinذُرِّيَّتِهِdhurriyyatihihis offspringsٱلنُّبُوَّةَl-nubuwatathe Prophethoodوَٱلْكِتَـٰبَwal-kitābaand the BookوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُwaātaynāhuAnd We gave himأَجْرَهُۥajrahuhis rewardفِىfīinٱلدُّنْيَا ۖl-dun'yāthe worldوَإِنَّهُۥwa-innahuAnd indeed, heفِىfīinٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِl-ākhiratithe Hereafterلَمِنَlamina(is) surely, amongٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَl-ṣāliḥīnathe righteous
29:27
وَلُوطًاwalūṭanAnd Lutإِذْidhwhenقَالَqālahe saidلِقَوْمِهِۦٓliqawmihito his peopleإِنَّكُمْinnakumIndeed, youلَتَأْتُونَlatatūnacommitٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَl-fāḥishatathe immoralityمَاmānotسَبَقَكُمsabaqakumhas preceded youبِهَاbihāwith itمِنْminanyأَحَدٍۢaḥadinoneمِّنَminafromٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَl-ʿālamīnathe worlds
29:28
أَئِنَّكُمْa-innakumIndeed, youلَتَأْتُونَlatatūnaapproachٱلرِّجَالَl-rijālathe menوَتَقْطَعُونَwataqṭaʿūnaand you cut offٱلسَّبِيلَl-sabīlathe roadوَتَأْتُونَwatatūnaand commitفِىfīinنَادِيكُمُnādīkumuyour meetingsٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖl-munkaraevilفَمَاfamāAnd notكَانَkānawasجَوَابَjawāba(the) answerقَوْمِهِۦٓqawmihi(of) his peopleإِلَّآillāexceptأَنanthatقَالُوا۟qālūthey saidٱئْتِنَاi'tināBring upon usبِعَذَابِbiʿadhābi(the) punishmentٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahإِنinifكُنتَkuntayou areمِنَminaofٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَl-ṣādiqīnathe truthful
29:29
قَالَqālaHe saidرَبِّrabbiMy Lordٱنصُرْنِىunṣur'nīHelp meعَلَىʿalāagainstٱلْقَوْمِl-qawmithe peopleٱلْمُفْسِدِينَl-muf'sidīnathe corrupters
29:30
