وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرٌّ دَعَوْاْ رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ 33
لِيَكْفُرُواْ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْۚ فَتَمَتَّعُواْ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ 34
أَمْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنًا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يُشْرِكُونَ 35
وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُواْ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ 36
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ 37
فَـَٔـاتِ ذَا ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلْمِسْكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ ذَٲلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ 38
وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّيَرْبُوَاْ فِىٓ أَمْوَٲلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُواْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَوٲةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ 39
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْۖ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفْعَلُ مِن ذَٲلِكُم مِّن شَىْءٍۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ 40
ظَهَرَ ٱلْفَسَادُ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِى ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُواْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 41
وَإِذَاwa-idhāAnd whenمَسَّmassatouchesٱلنَّاسَl-nāsapeopleضُرٌّۭḍurrunhardshipدَعَوْا۟daʿawthey callرَبَّهُمrabbahumtheir Lordمُّنِيبِينَmunībīnaturningإِلَيْهِilayhito HimثُمَّthummaThenإِذَآidhāwhenأَذَاقَهُمadhāqahumHe causes them to tasteمِّنْهُmin'hufrom HimرَحْمَةًraḥmatanMercyإِذَاidhābeholdفَرِيقٌۭfarīqunA partyمِّنْهُمmin'humof themبِرَبِّهِمْbirabbihimwith their Lordيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnaassociate partners
30:33
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟liyakfurūSo as to denyبِمَآbimā[in] whatءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ۚātaynāhumWe have granted themفَتَمَتَّعُوا۟fatamattaʿūThen enjoyفَسَوْفَfasawfabut soonتَعْلَمُونَtaʿlamūnayou will know
30:34
أَمْamOrأَنزَلْنَاanzalnāhave We sentعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto themسُلْطَـٰنًۭاsul'ṭānanan authorityفَهُوَfahuwaand itيَتَكَلَّمُyatakallamuspeaksبِمَاbimāof whatكَانُوا۟kānūthey wereبِهِۦbihiwith Himيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnaassociating
30:35
وَإِذَآwa-idhāAnd whenأَذَقْنَاadhaqnāWe cause people to tasteٱلنَّاسَl-nāsaWe cause people to tasteرَحْمَةًۭraḥmatanmercyفَرِحُوا۟fariḥūthey rejoiceبِهَا ۖbihāthereinوَإِنwa-inBut ifتُصِبْهُمْtuṣib'humafflicts themسَيِّئَةٌۢsayyi-atunan evilبِمَاbimāfor whatقَدَّمَتْqaddamathave sent forthأَيْدِيهِمْaydīhimtheir handsإِذَاidhābeholdهُمْhumTheyيَقْنَطُونَyaqnaṭūnadespair
30:36
أَوَلَمْawalamDo notيَرَوْا۟yarawthey seeأَنَّannathatٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahيَبْسُطُyabsuṭuextendsٱلرِّزْقَl-riz'qathe provisionلِمَنlimanfor whomيَشَآءُyashāuHe willsوَيَقْدِرُ ۚwayaqdiruand straitens (it)إِنَّinnaIndeedفِىfīinذَٰلِكَdhālikathatلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢlaāyātinsurely (are) Signsلِّقَوْمٍۢliqawminfor a peopleيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minūnawho believe
30:37
فَـَٔاتِfaātiSo giveذَاdhāthe relativeٱلْقُرْبَىٰl-qur'bāthe relativeحَقَّهُۥḥaqqahuhis rightوَٱلْمِسْكِينَwal-mis'kīnaand the poorوَٱبْنَwa-ib'naand the wayfarerٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚl-sabīliand the wayfarerذَٰلِكَdhālikaThatخَيْرٌۭkhayrun(is) bestلِّلَّذِينَlilladhīnafor those whoيُرِيدُونَyurīdūnadesireوَجْهَwajha(the) Countenanceٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahi(of) Allahوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَwa-ulāikaAnd thoseهُمُhumutheyٱلْمُفْلِحُونَl-muf'liḥūna(are) the successful ones
30:38
وَمَآwamāAnd whatءَاتَيْتُمātaytumyou giveمِّنminforرِّبًۭاribanusuryلِّيَرْبُوَا۟liyarbuwāto increaseفِىٓfīinأَمْوَٰلِamwāli(the) wealthٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) peopleفَلَاfalānotيَرْبُوا۟yarbū(will) increaseعِندَʿindawithٱللَّهِ ۖl-lahiAllahوَمَآwamāBut whatءَاتَيْتُمātaytumyou giveمِّنminofزَكَوٰةٍۢzakatinzakahتُرِيدُونَturīdūnadesiringوَجْهَwajha(the) Countenanceٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَfa-ulāikathen thoseهُمُhumu[they]ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَl-muḍ'ʿifūna(will) get manifold
30:39
ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahٱلَّذِىalladhī(is) the One Whoخَلَقَكُمْkhalaqakumcreated youثُمَّthummathenرَزَقَكُمْrazaqakumHe provided (for) youثُمَّthummathenيُمِيتُكُمْyumītukumHe will cause you to dieثُمَّthummathenيُحْيِيكُمْ ۖyuḥ'yīkumHe will give you lifeهَلْhalIs (there)مِنminanyشُرَكَآئِكُمshurakāikum(of) your partnersمَّنmanwhoيَفْعَلُyafʿaludoesمِنminofذَٰلِكُمdhālikumthatمِّنminanyشَىْءٍۢ ۚshayinthingسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥsub'ḥānahuGlory be to Himوَتَعَـٰلَىٰwataʿālāand exalted is Heعَمَّاʿammāabove whatيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnathey associate
30:40
ظَهَرَẓaharaHas appearedٱلْفَسَادُl-fasāduthe corruptionفِىfīinٱلْبَرِّl-barithe landوَٱلْبَحْرِwal-baḥriand the seaبِمَاbimāfor whatكَسَبَتْkasabathave earnedأَيْدِىaydī(the) handsٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) peopleلِيُذِيقَهُمliyudhīqahumso that He may let them tasteبَعْضَbaʿḍaa partٱلَّذِىalladhī(of) that whichعَمِلُوا۟ʿamilūthey have doneلَعَلَّهُمْlaʿallahumso that they mayيَرْجِعُونَyarjiʿūnareturn
30:41
