قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِۖ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰۚ قَالُواْ فَٱدْعُواْۗ وَمَا دُعَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ 50
إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْأَشْهَـٰدُ 51
يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْۖ وَلَهُمُ ٱللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلدَّارِ 52
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَأَوْرَثْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ 53
هُدًى وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُوْلِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ 54
فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِ 55
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَـٰنٍ أَتَـٰهُمْۙ إِن فِى صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَـٰلِغِيهِۚ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ 56
لَخَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 57
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَلَا ٱلْمُسِىٓءُۚ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ 58
قَالُوٓا۟qālūThey (will) sayأَوَلَمْawalamDid there notتَكُtakuDid there notتَأْتِيكُمْtatīkumcome to youرُسُلُكُمrusulukumyour Messengersبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖbil-bayinātiwith clear proofsقَالُوا۟qālūThey (will) sayبَلَىٰ ۚbalāYesقَالُوا۟qālūThey (will) sayفَٱدْعُوا۟ ۗfa-id'ʿūThen callوَمَاwamābut notدُعَـٰٓؤُا۟duʿāu(is the) callٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīna(of) the disbelieversإِلَّاillāexceptفِىfīinضَلَـٰلٍḍalālinerror
40:50
إِنَّاinnāIndeed WeلَنَنصُرُlananṣuruWe will surely helpرُسُلَنَاrusulanāOur Messengersوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveفِىfīinٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayatithe lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldوَيَوْمَwayawmaand (on the) Dayيَقُومُyaqūmu(when) will standٱلْأَشْهَـٰدُl-ashhāduthe witnesses
40:51
يَوْمَyawma(The) Dayلَاlānotيَنفَعُyanfaʿuwill benefitٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَl-ẓālimīnathe wrongdoersمَعْذِرَتُهُمْ ۖmaʿdhiratuhumtheir excuseوَلَهُمُwalahumuand for themٱللَّعْنَةُl-laʿnatu(is) the curseوَلَهُمْwalahumand for themسُوٓءُsūu(is the) worstٱلدَّارِl-dārihome
40:52
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyءَاتَيْنَاātaynāWe gaveمُوسَىmūsāMusaٱلْهُدَىٰl-hudāthe guidanceوَأَوْرَثْنَاwa-awrathnāand We caused to inheritبَنِىٓbanī(the) Children of Israelإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَis'rāīla(the) Children of Israelٱلْكِتَـٰبَl-kitābathe Book
40:53
هُدًۭىhudanA guideوَذِكْرَىٰwadhik'rāand a reminderلِأُو۟لِىli-ulīfor thoseٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِl-albābi(of) understanding
40:54
فَٱصْبِرْfa-iṣ'birSo be patientإِنَّinnaindeedوَعْدَwaʿda(the) Promise of Allahٱللَّهِl-lahi(the) Promise of Allahحَقٌّۭḥaqqun(is) trueوَٱسْتَغْفِرْwa-is'taghfirAnd ask forgivenessلِذَنۢبِكَlidhanbikafor your sinوَسَبِّحْwasabbiḥand glorifyبِحَمْدِbiḥamdi(the) praiseرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lordبِٱلْعَشِىِّbil-ʿashiyiin the eveningوَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِwal-ib'kāriand the morning
40:55
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoيُجَـٰدِلُونَyujādilūnadisputeفِىٓfīconcerningءَايَـٰتِāyāti(the) Signsٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahبِغَيْرِbighayriwithoutسُلْطَـٰنٍsul'ṭāninany authorityأَتَىٰهُمْ ۙatāhum(which) came to themإِنinnotفِىfī(is) inصُدُورِهِمْṣudūrihimtheir breastsإِلَّاillābutكِبْرٌۭkib'rungreatnessمَّاmānotهُمhumtheyبِبَـٰلِغِيهِ ۚbibālighīhi(can) reach itفَٱسْتَعِذْfa-is'taʿidhSo seek refugeبِٱللَّهِ ۖbil-lahiin AllahإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed HeهُوَhuwaHeٱلسَّمِيعُl-samīʿu(is) the All-Hearerٱلْبَصِيرُl-baṣīruthe All-Seer
40:56
لَخَلْقُlakhalquSurely, (the) creationٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti(of) the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍiand the earthأَكْبَرُakbaru(is) greaterمِنْminthanخَلْقِkhalqi(the) creationٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) the mankindوَلَـٰكِنَّwalākinnabutأَكْثَرَaktharamostٱلنَّاسِl-nāsi(of) the peopleلَاlā(do) notيَعْلَمُونَyaʿlamūnaknow
40:57
وَمَاwamāAnd notيَسْتَوِىyastawī(are) equalٱلْأَعْمَىٰl-aʿmāthe blindوَٱلْبَصِيرُwal-baṣīruand the seeingوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveوَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand doٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deedsوَلَاwalāand notٱلْمُسِىٓءُ ۚl-musīuthe evildoerقَلِيلًۭاqalīlanLittleمَّاmā(is) whatتَتَذَكَّرُونَtatadhakkarūnayou take heed
40:58
