وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُۖ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُواْ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًاۙ قَالُواْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُۖ وَأُتُواْ بِهِۦ مُتَشَـٰبِهًاۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٲجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۖ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ 25
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَاۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا مَثَلاًۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِيرًا وَيَهْدِى بِهِۦ كَثِيرًاۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ 26
ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَـٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ 27
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَٲتًا فَأَحْيَـٰكُمْۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 28
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّٮٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٲتٍۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ 29
وَبَشِّرِwabashiriAnd give good newsٱلَّذِينَalladhīna(to) those whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieveوَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand doٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِl-ṣāliḥāti[the] righteous deedsأَنَّannathatلَهُمْlahumfor themجَنَّـٰتٍۢjannātin(will be) Gardensتَجْرِىtajrīflowمِنmin[from]تَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunder themٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖl-anhāruthe riversكُلَّمَاkullamāEvery timeرُزِقُوا۟ruziqūthey are providedمِنْهَاmin'hātherefromمِنminofثَمَرَةٍۢthamaratinfruitرِّزْقًۭا ۙriz'qan(as) provisionقَالُوا۟qālūthey (will) sayهَـٰذَاhādhāThis (is)ٱلَّذِىalladhīthe one whichرُزِقْنَاruziq'nāwe were providedمِنminfromقَبْلُ ۖqablubeforeوَأُتُوا۟wa-utūAnd they will be givenبِهِۦbihitherefromمُتَشَـٰبِهًۭا ۖmutashābihan(things) in resemblanceوَلَهُمْwalahumAnd for themفِيهَآfīhāthereinأَزْوَٰجٌۭazwājunspousesمُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ ۖmuṭahharatunpurifiedوَهُمْwahumand theyفِيهَاfīhāthereinخَـٰلِدُونَkhālidūna(will) abide forever
2:25
۞ إِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(is) notيَسْتَحْىِۦٓyastaḥyīashamedأَنantoيَضْرِبَyaḍribaset forthمَثَلًۭاmathalanan exampleمَّاmā(like) evenبَعُوضَةًۭbaʿūḍatan(of) a mosquitoفَمَاfamāand (even) somethingفَوْقَهَا ۚfawqahāabove itفَأَمَّاfa-ammāThen as forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelievedفَيَعْلَمُونَfayaʿlamūna[thus] they will knowأَنَّهُannahuthat itٱلْحَقُّl-ḥaqu(is) the truthمِنminfromرَّبِّهِمْ ۖrabbihimtheir Lordوَأَمَّاwa-ammāAnd as forٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelievedفَيَقُولُونَfayaqūlūna[thus] they will sayمَاذَآmādhāwhatأَرَادَarāda(did) intendٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِهَـٰذَاbihādhāby thisمَثَلًۭا ۘmathalanexampleيُضِلُّyuḍilluHe lets go astrayبِهِۦbihiby itكَثِيرًۭاkathīranmanyوَيَهْدِىwayahdīand He guidesبِهِۦbihiby itكَثِيرًۭا ۚkathīranmanyوَمَاwamāAnd notيُضِلُّyuḍilluHe lets go astrayبِهِۦٓbihiby itإِلَّاillāexceptٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَl-fāsiqīnathe defiantly disobedient
2:26
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose whoيَنقُضُونَyanquḍūnabreakعَهْدَʿahda(the) Covenantٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahمِنۢminfromبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمِيثَـٰقِهِۦmīthāqihiits ratificationوَيَقْطَعُونَwayaqṭaʿūnaand [they] cutمَآmāwhatأَمَرَamarahas orderedٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِهِۦٓbihiitأَنantoيُوصَلَyūṣalabe joinedوَيُفْسِدُونَwayuf'sidūnaand [they] spread corruptionفِىfīinٱلْأَرْضِ ۚl-arḍithe earthأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThoseهُمُhumutheyٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَl-khāsirūna(are) the losers
2:27
كَيْفَkayfaHowتَكْفُرُونَtakfurūna(can) you disbelieveبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiin AllahوَكُنتُمْwakuntumWhile you wereأَمْوَٰتًۭاamwātandeadفَأَحْيَـٰكُمْ ۖfa-aḥyākumthen He gave you lifeثُمَّthummathenيُمِيتُكُمْyumītukumHe will cause you to dieثُمَّthummathenيُحْيِيكُمْyuḥ'yīkumHe will give you lifeثُمَّthummathenإِلَيْهِilayhito Himتُرْجَعُونَtur'jaʿūnayou will be returned
2:28
هُوَhuwaHeٱلَّذِىalladhī(is) the One Whoخَلَقَkhalaqacreatedلَكُمlakumfor youمَّاmāwhatفِىfī(is) inٱلْأَرْضِl-arḍithe earthجَمِيعًۭاjamīʿanallثُمَّthummaMoreoverٱسْتَوَىٰٓis'tawāHe turnedإِلَىilātoٱلسَّمَآءِl-samāithe heavenفَسَوَّىٰهُنَّfasawwāhunnaand fashioned themسَبْعَsabʿasevenسَمَـٰوَٰتٍۢ ۚsamāwātinheavensوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heبِكُلِّbikulliof everyشَىْءٍshayinthingعَلِيمٌۭʿalīmun(is) All-Knowing
