وَٱسْتَغْفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا 106
وَلَا تُجَـٰدِلْ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا 107
يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا 108
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ جَـٰدَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٲةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَمَن يُجَـٰدِلُ ٱللَّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلاً 109
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًا أَوْ يَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرِ ٱللَّهَ يَجِدِ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا 110
وَمَن يَكْسِبْ إِثْمًا فَإِنَّمَا يَكْسِبُهُۥ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا 111
وَمَن يَكْسِبْ خَطِيٓــَٔةً أَوْ إِثْمًا ثُمَّ يَرْمِ بِهِۦ بَرِيٓــًٔا فَقَدِ ٱحْتَمَلَ بُهْتَـٰنًا وَإِثْمًا مُّبِينًا 112
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْۖ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَىْءٍۚ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُن تَعْلَمُۚ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا 113
وَٱسْتَغْفِرِwa-is'taghfiriAnd seek forgivenessٱللَّهَ ۖl-laha(of) AllahإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahكَانَkānaisغَفُورًۭاghafūranOft-ForgivingرَّحِيمًۭاraḥīmanMost Merciful
4:106
وَلَاwalāAnd (do) notتُجَـٰدِلْtujādilargueعَنِʿaniforٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoيَخْتَانُونَyakhtānūnadeceiveأَنفُسَهُمْ ۚanfusahumthemselvesإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(does) notيُحِبُّyuḥibbuloveمَنman(the one) whoكَانَkānaisخَوَّانًاkhawwānantreacherousأَثِيمًۭاathīman(and) sinful
4:107
يَسْتَخْفُونَyastakhfūnaThey seek to hideمِنَminafromٱلنَّاسِl-nāsithe peopleوَلَاwalābut notيَسْتَخْفُونَyastakhfūna(can) they hideمِنَminafromٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahوَهُوَwahuwaand Heمَعَهُمْmaʿahum(is) with themإِذْidhwhenيُبَيِّتُونَyubayyitūnathey plot by nightمَاmāwhatلَاlānotيَرْضَىٰyarḍā(does) he approveمِنَminaofٱلْقَوْلِ ۚl-qawlithe wordوَكَانَwakānaAnd isٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahبِمَاbimāof whatيَعْمَلُونَyaʿmalūnathey do مُحِيطًاmuḥīṭanAll-Encompassing
4:108
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْhāantumHere you are هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِhāulāithose whoجَـٰدَلْتُمْjādaltum[you] argueعَنْهُمْʿanhumfor themفِىfīinٱلْحَيَوٰةِl-ḥayatithe lifeٱلدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldفَمَنfamanbut whoيُجَـٰدِلُyujādiluwill argueٱللَّهَl-laha(with) Allahعَنْهُمْʿanhumfor themيَوْمَyawma(on the) Dayٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِl-qiyāmati(of) [the] Resurrectionأَمamorمَّنmanwhoيَكُونُyakūnuwill beعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhim[over them]وَكِيلًۭاwakīlan(their) defender
4:109
وَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَعْمَلْyaʿmaldoesسُوٓءًاsūanevilأَوْaworيَظْلِمْyaẓlimwrongsنَفْسَهُۥnafsahuhis soulثُمَّthummathenيَسْتَغْفِرِyastaghfiriseeks forgivenessٱللَّهَl-laha(of) Allahيَجِدِyajidihe will findٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahغَفُورًۭاghafūranOft-ForgivingرَّحِيمًۭاraḥīmanMost Merciful
4:110
وَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَكْسِبْyaksibearnsإِثْمًۭاith'mansinفَإِنَّمَاfa-innamāthen onlyيَكْسِبُهُۥyaksibuhuhe earns itعَلَىٰʿalāagainstنَفْسِهِۦ ۚnafsihihis soulوَكَانَwakānaAnd isٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahعَلِيمًاʿalīmanAll-KnowingحَكِيمًۭاḥakīmanAll-Wise
4:111
وَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَكْسِبْyaksibearnsخَطِيٓـَٔةًkhaṭīatana faultأَوْaworإِثْمًۭاith'mana sinثُمَّthummathenيَرْمِyarmithrowsبِهِۦbihiitبَرِيٓـًۭٔاbarīan(on) an innocentفَقَدِfaqadithen surelyٱحْتَمَلَiḥ'tamalahe (has) burdened (himself)بُهْتَـٰنًۭاbuh'tānan(with) a slanderوَإِثْمًۭاwa-ith'manand a sinمُّبِينًۭاmubīnanmanifest
4:112
وَلَوْلَاwalawlāAnd if notفَضْلُfaḍlu(for the) Graceٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَيْكَʿalaykaupon youوَرَحْمَتُهُۥwaraḥmatuhuand His Mercy لَهَمَّتlahammatsurely (had) resolvedطَّآئِفَةٌۭṭāifatuna groupمِّنْهُمْmin'humof themأَنantoيُضِلُّوكَyuḍillūkamislead youوَمَاwamāBut notيُضِلُّونَyuḍillūnathey misleadإِلَّآillāexceptأَنفُسَهُمْ ۖanfusahumthemselvesوَمَاwamāand notيَضُرُّونَكَyaḍurrūnakathey will harm youمِنmininشَىْءٍۢ ۚshayinanythingوَأَنزَلَwa-anzalaAnd has sent downٱللَّهُl-lahuAllahعَلَيْكَʿalaykato youٱلْكِتَـٰبَl-kitābathe Bookوَٱلْحِكْمَةَwal-ḥik'mataand [the] Wisdomوَعَلَّمَكَwaʿallamakaand taught youمَاmāwhatلَمْlamnotتَكُنtakunyou didتَعْلَمُ ۚtaʿlamuknowوَكَانَwakānaAnd isفَضْلُfaḍlu(the) Graceٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَيْكَʿalaykaupon youعَظِيمًۭاʿaẓīmangreat
4:113
