۞ لَّا خَيْرَ فِى كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَٮٰهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَـٰحِۭ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٲلِكَ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا 114
وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَيَتَّبِعْ غَيْرَ سَبِيلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ نُوَلِّهِۦ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصْلِهِۦ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَسَآءَتْ مَصِيرًا 115
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلاَۢ بَعِيدًا 116
إِن يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ إِنَـٰثًا وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَـٰنًا مَّرِيدًا 117
لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُۘ وَقَالَ لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا 118
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَأَمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ وَلَأَمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا 119
يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا 120
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَأْوَٮٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ عَنْهَا مَحِيصًا 121
۞ لَّاlā(There is) noخَيْرَkhayragoodفِىfīinكَثِيرٍۢkathīrinmuchمِّنminofنَّجْوَىٰهُمْnajwāhumtheir secret talkإِلَّاillāexceptمَنْman(he) whoأَمَرَamaraordersبِصَدَقَةٍbiṣadaqatincharityأَوْaworمَعْرُوفٍmaʿrūfinkindnessأَوْaworإِصْلَـٰحٍۭiṣ'lāḥinconciliationبَيْنَbaynabetweenٱلنَّاسِ ۚl-nāsithe peopleوَمَنwamanAnd whoيَفْعَلْyafʿaldoesذَٰلِكَdhālikathatٱبْتِغَآءَib'tighāaseekingمَرْضَاتِmarḍātipleasureٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allahفَسَوْفَfasawfathen soonنُؤْتِيهِnu'tīhiWe will give himأَجْرًاajrana rewardعَظِيمًۭاʿaẓīmangreat
4:114
وَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيُشَاقِقِyushāqiqiopposesٱلرَّسُولَl-rasūlathe Messengerمِنۢminfromبَعْدِbaʿdiafterمَاmāwhatتَبَيَّنَtabayyana(has) become clearلَهُlahuto himٱلْهُدَىٰl-hudā(of) the guidanceوَيَتَّبِعْwayattabiʿand he followsغَيْرَghayraother thanسَبِيلِsabīli(the) wayٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīna(of) the believersنُوَلِّهِۦnuwallihiWe will turn himمَاmā(to) whatتَوَلَّىٰtawallāhe (has) turnedوَنُصْلِهِۦwanuṣ'lihiand We will burn himجَهَنَّمَ ۖjahannama(in) Hellوَسَآءَتْwasāatand evil it isمَصِيرًاmaṣīran(as) a destination
4:115
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlādoes notيَغْفِرُyaghfiruforgiveأَنanthatيُشْرَكَyush'rakapartners be associatedبِهِۦbihiwith Himوَيَغْفِرُwayaghfirubut He forgivesمَاmā[what]دُونَdūnaother thanذَٰلِكَdhālikathatلِمَنlimanfor whomيَشَآءُ ۚyashāuHe willsوَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيُشْرِكْyush'rikassociates partnersبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiwith Allahفَقَدْfaqadthen surelyضَلَّḍallahe lost (the) wayضَلَـٰلًۢاḍalālanstrayingبَعِيدًاbaʿīdanfar away
4:116
إِنinNotيَدْعُونَyadʿūnathey invokeمِنminfromدُونِهِۦٓdūnihibesides Himإِلَّآillābutإِنَـٰثًۭاināthanfemale (deities)وَإِنwa-inand notيَدْعُونَyadʿūnathey invokeإِلَّاillāexceptشَيْطَـٰنًۭاshayṭānanShaitaan مَّرِيدًۭاmarīdanrebellious
4:117
لَّعَنَهُlaʿanahuHe was cursedٱللَّهُ ۘl-lahuby Allahوَقَالَwaqālaand he saidلَأَتَّخِذَنَّla-attakhidhannaI will surely takeمِنْminfromعِبَادِكَʿibādikayour slavesنَصِيبًۭاnaṣībana portionمَّفْرُوضًۭاmafrūḍanappointed
4:118
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْwala-uḍillannahumAnd I will surely mislead themوَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْwala-umanniyannahumand surely arouse desires in themوَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمْwalaāmurannahumand surely I will order themفَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّfalayubattikunnaso they will surely cut offءَاذَانَādhāna(the) earsٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِl-anʿāmi(of) the cattleوَلَـَٔامُرَنَّهُمْwalaāmurannahumand surely I will order themفَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّfalayughayyirunnaso they will surely changeخَلْقَkhalqa(the) creationٱللَّهِ ۚl-lahi(of) AllahوَمَنwamanAnd whoeverيَتَّخِذِyattakhidhitakesٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَl-shayṭānathe Shaitaanوَلِيًّۭاwaliyyan(as) a friendمِّنminfromدُونِdūnibesidesٱللَّهِl-lahiAllahفَقَدْfaqadthen surelyخَسِرَkhasirahe (has) lost خُسْرَانًۭاkhus'rānana lossمُّبِينًۭاmubīnanmanifest
4:119
يَعِدُهُمْyaʿiduhumHe promises themوَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖwayumannīhimand arouses desires in themوَمَاwamāand notيَعِدُهُمُyaʿiduhumupromises themٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُl-shayṭānuthe Shaitaan إِلَّاillāexceptغُرُورًاghurūrandeception
4:120
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāikaThose مَأْوَىٰهُمْmawāhumtheir abodeجَهَنَّمُjahannamu(is) Hellوَلَاwalāand notيَجِدُونَyajidūnathey will findعَنْهَاʿanhāfrom itمَحِيصًۭاmaḥīṣanany escape
4:121
