وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوْاْ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔـاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 65
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُواْ ٱلتَّوْرَٮٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ لَأَكَلُواْ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمۚ مِّنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُّقْتَصِدَةٌۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ سَآءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ 66
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ وَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ 67
قُلْ يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰ تُقِيمُواْ ٱلتَّوْرَٮٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْۗ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَـٰنًا وَكُفْرًاۖ فَلَا تَأْسَ عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ 68
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَٱلصَّـٰبِــُٔونَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 69
لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَـٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلاًۖ كُلَّمَا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ 70
وَلَوْwalawAnd ifأَنَّannathatأَهْلَahla(the) Peopleٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Bookءَامَنُوا۟āmanū(had) believedوَٱتَّقَوْا۟wa-ittaqawand feared (Allah)لَكَفَّرْنَاlakaffarnāsurely We (would have) removedعَنْهُمْʿanhumfrom themسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْsayyiātihimtheir evil (deeds)وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْwala-adkhalnāhumand surely We (would have) admitted themجَنَّـٰتِjannāti(to) Gardensٱلنَّعِيمِl-naʿīmi(of) Bliss
5:65
وَلَوْwalawAnd ifأَنَّهُمْannahumthat theyأَقَامُوا۟aqāmūhad stood firmlyٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَl-tawrāta(by) the Tauratوَٱلْإِنجِيلَwal-injīlaand the Injeelوَمَآwamāand whatأُنزِلَunzilawas revealedإِلَيْهِمilayhimto themمِّنminfromرَّبِّهِمْrabbihimtheir Lordلَأَكَلُوا۟la-akalūsurely they (would have) eatenمِنminfromفَوْقِهِمْfawqihimabove themوَمِنwaminand fromتَحْتِtaḥtibeneathأَرْجُلِهِم ۚarjulihimtheir feetمِّنْهُمْmin'humAmong themأُمَّةٌۭummatun(is) a communityمُّقْتَصِدَةٌۭ ۖmuq'taṣidatunmoderateوَكَثِيرٌۭwakathīrunbut manyمِّنْهُمْmin'humof them سَآءَsāaevilمَاmā(is) whatيَعْمَلُونَyaʿmalūnathey do
5:66
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhāOٱلرَّسُولُl-rasūluMessengerبَلِّغْballighConveyمَآmāwhatأُنزِلَunzilahas been revealedإِلَيْكَilaykato youمِنminfromرَّبِّكَ ۖrabbikayour Lordوَإِنwa-inand ifلَّمْlamnotتَفْعَلْtafʿalyou doفَمَاfamāthen notبَلَّغْتَballaghtayou (have) conveyedرِسَالَتَهُۥ ۚrisālatahuHis Messageوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuAnd Allahيَعْصِمُكَyaʿṣimukawill protect youمِنَminafromٱلنَّاسِ ۗl-nāsithe peopleإِنَّinnaIndeedٱللَّهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(does) notيَهْدِىyahdīguideٱلْقَوْمَl-qawmathe peopleٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelieving
5:67
قُلْqulSayيَـٰٓأَهْلَyāahlaO Peopleٱلْكِتَـٰبِl-kitābi(of) the BookلَسْتُمْlastumYou are notعَلَىٰʿalāonشَىْءٍshayinanythingحَتَّىٰḥattāuntilتُقِيمُوا۟tuqīmūyou stand firmlyٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَl-tawrāta(by) the Tauratوَٱلْإِنجِيلَwal-injīlaand the Injeelوَمَآwamāand whatأُنزِلَunzilahas been revealedإِلَيْكُمilaykumto youمِّنminfromرَّبِّكُمْ ۗrabbikumyour LordوَلَيَزِيدَنَّwalayazīdannaAnd surely increaseكَثِيرًۭاkathīranmanyمِّنْهُمmin'humof themمَّآmāwhatأُنزِلَunzilahas been revealedإِلَيْكَilaykato youمِنminfromرَّبِّكَrabbikayour Lordطُغْيَـٰنًۭاṭugh'yānan(in) rebellionوَكُفْرًۭا ۖwakuf'ranand disbeliefفَلَاfalāSo (do) notتَأْسَtasagrieveعَلَىʿalāoverٱلْقَوْمِl-qawmithe peopleٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelieving
5:68
إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose whoءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelievedوَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnaand those whoهَادُوا۟hādūbecame Jewsوَٱلصَّـٰبِـُٔونَwal-ṣābiūnaand the Sabiansوَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰwal-naṣārāand the Christiansمَنْmanwhoeverءَامَنَāmanabelievedبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiin Allahوَٱلْيَوْمِwal-yawmiand the Dayٱلْـَٔاخِرِl-ākhirithe Lastوَعَمِلَwaʿamilaand didصَـٰلِحًۭاṣāliḥangood deedsفَلَاfalāthen noخَوْفٌkhawfunfearعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimon themوَلَاwalāand notهُمْhumtheyيَحْزَنُونَyaḥzanūnawill grieve
5:69
لَقَدْlaqadCertainlyأَخَذْنَاakhadhnāWe tookمِيثَـٰقَmīthāqaa Covenantبَنِىٓbanī(from the) Childrenإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَis'rāīla(of) Israelوَأَرْسَلْنَآwa-arsalnāand We sentإِلَيْهِمْilayhimto themرُسُلًۭا ۖrusulanMessengersكُلَّمَاkullamāWheneverجَآءَهُمْjāahumcame to themرَسُولٌۢrasūlunany Messengerبِمَاbimāwith whatلَاlānotتَهْوَىٰٓtahwādesiredأَنفُسُهُمْanfusuhumtheir soulsفَرِيقًۭاfarīqana groupكَذَّبُوا۟kadhabūthey deniedوَفَرِيقًۭاwafarīqanand a groupيَقْتُلُونَyaqtulūnathey kill
5:70
